We dealt with the branch at Rainworth, Nottinghamshire and Wendy who was dealing with us was very compassionate and very professional. The funeral on the day went very smoothly and nothing was too much trouble. Jonathan who was leading the funeral went out of the way to go to some woods where my Husband and myself went to everyday to walk our dog.

From the first visit to Wendy to make arrangements everybody was so kind and considerate - I know it's their job - but they all went above and beyond. When I called in to hand in more donations I was handed a Memory Box which I and my family thought was a lovely gesture, which I shall keep and treasure. Thanking everyone concerned you made a sad day a little easier to handle

Very thoughtful, patient and kind Wendy and David were lovely. It was a long time getting to the funeral from when dad died, it was always going to be the saddest day, but his wishes were respected and he was treated with the dignity he so deserved. Thanks again

Both David and Wendy are amazing. After two bereavements within a month, they helped, supported and guided the family through the process. They were thoughtful and kind and I will be forever in their debt. They helped create a day that we will remember. Would highly recommend to all and I am sure our paths will cross again.

Fantastic service, David from the funeral parlour couldn't do enough for us, explained everything clearly and with compassion, kept us up to date with everything, it made us feel stress free with the arrangements, and be able to give our mum the best, and we did, thank you from Marion Driscolls family.David we couldn't have done it without you.

Wonderful service especially as it took so long for us to be able to start planning the funeral. Wendy was very caring and calm which enabled us to make the decisions quickly and easily about how we wanted to celebrate our dads passing. Concerns over how my brothers and nephew would cope being pallbearers were alleviated straight away by Wendy by knowing that even on the day and at the last moment there would be members of their team available if my family felt they could not carry my dad to his final resting place. David was great and explained on the day how the procession and carrying my dad would happen ensuring the safety off all included and the wonderful touch of matching his tie to the colours on my dads flowers was lovely.
I can not thank Wendy and David enough for making the planning and the final steps so easy at such a difficult time. Thank you

Wendy and David were really helpful at a time of great upset after the sudden death of our dad. Their professionalism made a terrible job much easier and we will be forever grateful for the kindness shown by all the staff from collecting dad on the day of his death, right up until leaving him at the crematorium after the service at the church.

I couldn't have asked for more, David and Wendy at J.W Hutchinson helped us give my dad a great send off. They were thoughtful, approachable and didn't charge a fortune or try to up sell.

They kept us informed at all times and David was amazing on the day, he ensured everything went smoothly.

I couldn't thank them enough and would definitely recommend them.
