The team of professional, considerate staff are proud to care for your loved one and help you with every step of arranging a funeral. As members of SAIF (Independent Funeral Directors), you can be assured that all members of staff abide by a strict code of practice.

You can choose from a range of coffins, including traditional hardwood, cardboard, wicker and bespoke designs. Thornalley Funeral Services has its own fleet of limousines, which each have room for seven passengers.
Thornalley Funeral Services is open Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm, with a 24-hour service. If you wish to, you can arrange to view your loved one in a peaceful chapel of rest that will be set aside for your use, making sure that you can say goodbye in private.

We were bowled over with the service we received from Thornalley Funeral Services nothing was to much trouble for them. We had some different ideas that we wanted, including a six foot cardboard cut out of John Wayne standing beside Jane during the service and the pallbearer's fuchsia pink ties. They found us the perfect coffin and matching casket they helped sort out everything we needed and were kind and supportive all the way through.
We cannot recommend Thornalley Funeral Services enough they were brilliant.

Thornalley I cannot fault in any way, they were so helpful, friendly and very smart. Always attentive to my needs making sure I was alright. Time keeping spot on. I just cannot praise them up enough. All of the above is for before during and after the funeral. They made a very sad time much easier to bear.

My late wife was a care worker and always told me how good she had found Thornalley so it was an easy choice for me when she died suddenly last year.
Under such horrible circumstances you really find it hard to face having to make the arrangements necessary. From first contact Thornalley were wonderful. Understanding, patient and helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
Verne, the celebrant, conducted the service with understanding and thoughtfulness and everyone said how beautiful it was.
My wife was absolutely right and I am so glad I took her advice and went to Thornalley.

Thank you Andrew for the reassuring manner in which you handled the funeral of our dear friend. From our first meeting with you, in which you explained all the procedures, until the last notes at the end of the funeral service, everything was handled sensitively and with unhurried support.
Thank you to all the staff with whom we came into contact - at the office, and at the crematorium - to Janet the celebrant who listened patiently to our ideas for the funeral, to those who seamlessly managed the service, the respectful handling of the coffin, the music, the photos, the readings.
