We could not have been more pleased or impressed with Thornalleys and the way you dealt with us. Stuart and Pete were gentle and kind when they came to collect Dad and then Nicky and Sam were the perfect blend of efficiency, calmness and kindness throughout both the planning of the funeral and the day itself. Dad looked so lovely in the Chapel of Rest. Sam had done  a great job and you all patiently dealt with every small detail we requested from you in preparation for our 2 services. We were very impressed with the design team too. Our orders of service were wonderful. On the funeral day, Sam and Stuart took care of everything so efficiently and  their cheerful, calm presence was just what we needed. Sam, you are incredible. Just so good at your job and just what people need at a very difficult time. We would not hesitate to give Thornalleys the highest recommendation. .

Right from the start they were thoughtful and helpful with all the arrangements and nothing was too much trouble. All the staff we came into contact with were very pleasant and caring. Any questions, however small, were answered promptly. Although it is a sad time they made you feel at ease with their kind and efficient manner.

From start to finish on this sad journey our family cannot recommend Thorn alley funeral services enough. From the very beginning Sam was so kind and understood all of our wishes. At such a sad time we felt he was there for us and kept in touch with us to make sure every thing was fine. On the day of our Dads funeral Dean officiated everything and made sure we were all comfortable with what was going to happen. They guided us through the whole process with care and dignity. Sam and the team were so helpful when I had to arrange this funeral from a distance - we live over 150 miles away! They talked me through all the stages, contacted the church and made all the arrangements, which worked very smoothly. They were sensitive to some of the problems we encountered. I particularly appreciated the 'keep in touch' phone calls. They would not have been needed if we lived closer, but were invaluable when we were working from a distance. A very kind and professional organisation
