We found Thornalley Funeral Services at Dersingham to be excellent throughout the whole process. From our first meeting with Nicky we were treated with sympathy and courtesy. Everything was handled efficiently and Sam phoned us frequently to ensure that all was well and that we had no outstanding questions. Nicky also arranged for a Celebrant, Claire Singh, to work with us in planning the service and she was extremely helpful and supportive. I can thoroughly recommend them.

From the first interaction with Nicky we felt such comfort that we would be looked after by the team at Dersingham. Then we met Sam and were confident with our decision. Chris was cared for with dignity and respect, this was important to us.
The team were available for any questions and helped us with everything we needed to know for the funeral, nothing was too much.
We couldn't thank them enough and would and have already recommended to others.

Sam the funeral director came to my house to arrange the funeral of my husband Fred Ford. He made me feel as though I was the only person who had lost a loved one. he was professional, but also had a quiet sense of humour when the need arose. When I went into the Dersingham office I was met by Nicki who also made me feel very special. On the day of the funeral, Sam and his air of serenity, was perfect. The Celebrant was Claire Singh, who spoke with great solemnity and, a lovely poem about Fred's baking. Fred would have loved the day. The aftercare is also there if needed which I will when I decide what to do with Fred's ashes. Thank you Sam, Nicki and Claire xxx

Sam and Nicky made us feel very at ease during a very sad time whilst sorting out all the arrangements, and all the phone calls to see if we were doing ok was above and beyond and we are very grateful for this. They were the best!!

It was my mums funeral, I found them very caring, Nicky was great, giving me info on places that might take mums furniture etc, Sam was phoning me leading up to the big day, keeping me informed. On the day of the funeral he was talking me through everything that they were doing and what the family needed to do. It all went smoothly and I would recommend them.

From the moment we contacted them by phone, until Sam and the coffin bearers left us at the crematorium they were pitch perfect. The options were explained to us by Nicky who was professional, compassionate and warm. On the actual day/s at the Church/ crematorium the arrangements they had made worked faultlessly. The entire process of arranging and the manner in which it was conducted was excellent. The staff were sympathetic with out being over the top. On the day every thing that was promised was delivered with dignity, and efficient courtesy.
This made a difficult situation that much easier to bear and for which the family were very grateful.

Every single detail was taken care of by all of the staff, who had exactly the right approach and demeanor considering the circumstances. Could not have been
happier with the way Nicky at the Dersingham office took us through what needed
to happen, scheduling the service as quickly as possible, the day after our Dad’s passing and laying out all that would need to happen in that two week period.
At their chapel Sam took care of preparing Dad beautifully and Janet, the celebrant
made the service very special indeed. Cannot thank you enough!
