Ben & all the team at Bournes were truly amazing in supporting our family at such a difficult & emotional time. 5 stars just does not begin to display the level of service, advice, professionalism & kindness we were all individually shown as a family. Choosing an undertaker to care for a loved one whilst arranging your final goodbyes, is a situation no one wants to face or think about. However if you are reading this review & seeking some feedback on this undertakers, I urge you to save yourself the heartache & look no further. From our initial phone call to being invited in to meet some of the team, we was greeted with care & sincere compassion. Encouraged to deal with the process in the time we needed, knowing Ben and team were only a phone call or email away. Their prompt response with their professional advice was a great relief to the many questions we had.
They care, are sincere, provide invaluable advice from years of knowledge & experience. Their service was so so comforting & allowed our family to cope during the initial grief period, as we felt confident our loved one was in the safest hands. The funeral date arrived, was conducted from start to finish to the highest standards. They understood our family, the Church Service & Burial we hoped for & executed it perfectly.
I could write so many special touches they added, however as I can relate to anyone that may be in the same situation we faced, I can only encourage you give this team a call. They will help you navigate this journey step by step.

I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bournes to anyone who is planning a funeral for a loved one. They guided us through organising the day with ease and their support relieved us of what could otherwise have been a distressing experience. Bournes have been lovely. Every member of staff has been kind and compassionate and their care for us and our daughter has been much appreciated. They have worked so hard to meet our requests in order to make sure that the service was exactly as we wanted. I cannot thank them enough. I would certainly recommend them to others.

Ben and all the staff here have been amazing when looking after our son, they made the hardest thing we’ve ever done as painless as it it could be, so compassionate and thoughtful, little touches that they did were not asked for but so appreciated by the family, we cannot thank them enough.

As a family we cannot thank Ben and all the staff at Bournes Sittingbourne for their compassion and professionalism. The service provided was excellent, all our requests were listened to and assistance provided when needed, never rushing us to make a decision. It felt like nothing was too much trouble and that they treated my late mother with respect and dignity.

We used Bournes Funeral Service again as they had been so good 10 years previously for my Dad’s funeral. It was so nice to see that there was continuity of staff and felt that we were dealing with old friends. One of their celebrants, who officiated at Dad’s funeral, was able to also attend Mum’s which was very comforting.
Everyone was so kind and dealt with us both professionally and with great care.
All of our wishes were listened to and help given where necessary.
As I do not live in Sittingbourne they made every effort to fit arrangements in to our travel plans, especially when it came to viewing Mum.
The funeral was perfect and so many of our friends and relations commented on how personal it was. Many thanks to everyone at Bournes.

Bournes Funeral Directors were absolutely amazing when dealing with my husbands funeral.  Nothing was too much trouble and I must personally thank Ben and Catherine for all the care they showed me.  Unfortunately my Piper was unable to come but when telling Ben as they arrived at the Crematorium, he said don’t worry I will sort it for you, and that’s exactly what he did.  The two pieces of music I had selected for the Piper to play at his funeral was organised and no one would have ever known that there had been an issue.  The care they showed my husband was exemplary and also I must mention the Celebant Jenny Hall they employed for me.  She was a really lovely lady and gave the Eulogy and my Memories of Steve in a very professional and dignified way.  If anyone is ever in the position that they need a Funeral Directors then I can recommend Bournes 100%.  Thank you all for everything you did for me.  Denise
