Myself and my family cannot thank Ben and the staff at Bournes enough for the wonderful, professional service they provided for my mum's funeral. Ben was very supportive, understanding, caring and compassionate at a very difficult time. Ben explained the process to us and we were never rushed. We were given the time and the space to think about the decisions that needed to be made. We had family flying out to Australia, and Ben secured a time for the funeral that not only allowed family to travel some distance but allowed those family members about to travel away to attend the funeral. The care and understanding that went into this was exemplary and we will always be truly grateful. The online obituary is a beautiful and delightful way of commemorating a loved one and allows people to donate to a charity that means a great deal to the family as well as leaving condolences. Nothing was any trouble, they were always on hand to answer questions and fulfil requests, to sit and chat about mum and when Catherine rang to say mum was in the chapel and they'd had a chat and mum was alright, was such a very special touch and so very calming and reassuring. We were treated with the upmost kindness, respect, care and compassion and mum was treated with the upmost dignity and respect that she so truly deserved. The words thank you will never convey enough but... Thank You... for everything.

Bournes initially organised my parents pre-payment plans, which made the event so much easier when my Dad passed 3 years ago. Recently, they arranged a service which involved a journey to bring my brother home. On both occasions, the help we have received from everyone has been exemplorary. We have been treated with great kindness & respect & felt that our loved ones have too. The rooms in which we have been able to visit are beautiful, reverant & peaceful. Our grateful thanks to everyone.

The family can not thank Ben and the staff at Bournes of Sittingbourne enough for the wonderful professional service that they provided in respect of the funeral of my Father. From the very beginning Ben took the family slowly through the process , making suggestions which were very much appreciated at a difficult time and allowing the family time to make decisions, never rushing us. The staff answered all queries that we had promptly and courteously, it felt like nothing was too much trouble and we felt that they all treated my late father with the respect and dignity that he deserved, we really do appreciated the tremendous effort that they put in.
