We used John Weirs Gillingham funeral parlour because it is local to where we live and the nursing home where my mother passed away. I don't think we could have found anywhere more helpful and understanding. We approached them before the coroner had released Mums body and Theresa gave us all the help and advise we needed. Once they had mum in their care, everything was dealt with efficiently and professionally, with all the information leaflets and documents presented in a faux leather wallet. On the day of the funeral the four gentlemen with the immaculate hearse and two limousines were very dignified and professional and met all our expectations.

I can only say good things about my experience with John Weir Funeral Directors, from the moment my brother and I walked into their Watling Street, Gillingham, offices to book our Father's funeral and our meeting with the lovely Theresa to the day of the service itself at the Garden of England cemetery and the way we were treated by John Weir and his team with dignity and professionalism. I would certainly recommend John Weir Funeral Directors to anyone.

My mums funeral was handled with dignity at every stage.
The staff in the Gillingham office were understanding and helped with all requests made by the family.
On the day the hearse looked lovely and the men were friendly and helpful before & after the service.
I can’t say a big enough thank you fo dealing and guiding us through a very sad time.

Teresa at Watling Street could not have been more supportive throughout and treated us as a family and my mum and dad with absolute respect. The funeral was beautiful.  Drivers were respectful and professional, we could not have asked for more.

1st class service throughout but surprised that payment had to be made up front and prior to service being provided. Had thought that Executors had up to 8 weeks to settle before interest accrued. That aside absolutely no complaints.

I can't fault them, luckily my mum had arranged her funeral so that made things much easier than it could of been, they guide you through and seem to genuinely care. I imagine its difficult for them but they're professional and I'm glad my mum chose John Weir (Gillingham, Kent )

John Weir provided an excellent service for my mother's funeral.  I'd particularly like to mention Theresa Butters, who was the person I dealt with at the Watling Street branch.  She offered a completely professional and efficient service in making the arrangements, while being sensitive and caring. No request was too much trouble and was sorted out immediately.  Just what was needed during a difficult time.
