Amazing service, from the initial consultation to the end of our requirements of them. Lovely people, caring, understanding and empathetic; kept in touch as they said they would, nothing too much trouble and, given the horror stories you hear, represented excellent value for our money as nothing was too much effort and the funeral was conducted with professionalism, care and attention to detail. 6 stars!

From start to finish we have had nothing but excellent service from John Weir and cannot praise their staff enough, to our first meeting with Amanda who was at the Gillingham office until Theresa came back from holiday, then Theresa took over -what lovely ladies they both are, for anyone having to arrange a funeral it is a very sad and difficult time but they have made everything so easy for us and nothing was too much trouble.
On the day of Mum's funeral we would love to thank all the men in the cortege who again couldn't have helped us enough, every step of the way it was explained what was going to happen and if we weren't sure about anything or needed any help to just ask and lastly a very special thanks must go to Bridget Sapiano who took the service -we wanted Mum's funeral to be a celebration of her life and that is exactly what we had, everybody who attended and it was a lot especially Mark & Spencer ladies said they had never been to such a lovely funeral so again a huge big Thank You to everyone involved.

Amanda and Teresa were so friendly and knowledgeable, making every part of arranging our mum's funeral so much easier to bare. The gentlemen on the day were courteous and efficient, nothing was too much trouble for anyone

I've lost both my Mum & Dad within 5 and a half months of each other - John Weir handled both funerals - I cannot compliment the company enough- Theresa at Gillingham was so supportive along with Amanda - such kind considerate ladies who could not do enough to accommodate our requirements.
Both Funerals were directed by Shane - again such a kind considerate person who treated us as though he was one of the family
My praise for this wonderful firm is endless and would wholeheartedly recommend John Weir

The reason I chose them was not only because of their wonderful reputation but my late Mum used to sell John his shirts in Marks & Spencer's when he first started out - she always commented he was very charming and sensitive - John Weir was the only choice in these circumstances.

Teresa never fails to make a very difficult time easy to navigate. The care and consideration shown on the day is exemplary. We were so happy with the John Weir.  It was a very difficult time indeed, with a lot going on and the patience and support provided, especially by Theresa, was wonderful.  We were so pleased that Shane and his colleague came out so promptly on an evening when the weather was truly atrocious.  Everything went so smoothly thanks to all of the staff and their very professional approach.

Dear John, Once again, the Gillingham branch of John Weir provided us with a first class service, from the initial consultation with Theresa right through to the day of my father's funeral. Theresa is a very special person: ultra efficient and paying minute attention to detail to make every aspect of the proceedings just perfect, but also so warm and caring when dealing with the extremely painful and delicate situation of families trying to make decisions whilst struggling to come to terms with the loss of a loved one. My father's funeral took place on Friday 2nd of March, when the elements did their utmost to thwart us. The team, led so admirably by Shane, conducted it all with great courtesy, grace, dignity and calmness, despite the hazardous nature of the weather conditions, which was escalating by the minute. Thank you all for your efforts and hard work. You should feel proud of this wonderful team!
