To know that our beautiful loved one was in their hands gave us comfort.

We knew from having previous experience with them that she would be treated with respect.

Everything was handled beautifully and any requests were met without hesitation.

At the most devastating time, all at John Weir made the process feel more manageable.

Special thanks to Deana in the office, who was so friendly and helpful from arranging times for us to come to the chapel of rest, to supporting us when we were there.

Every member of the team were respectful and supportive on the day of the funeral which made us feel like they were there for us all.

The Celebrant showed great empathy and really took the time to listen to us when we were telling her about our loved one.
She delivered the service with such compassion.

We have used John Weir funeral directors for all of our family funerals spanning a time period of 30+ years. Their attention to detail is second to none.
In the case of my mother's funeral, Deana at the Gillingham office was absolutely amazing. Nothing was too much trouble and her kindness and compassion made a very difficult time easier to manage. On the day of the funeral, Shane and his team were wonderful. They carried out their duties with a quiet, dignified professionalism helping to make the day of the funeral run as smoothly as possible.

John Weir Gillingham arranged the funerals of both my parents. Service was excellent, they even went as far as to arrange the vehicles registrations to avoid unlucky numbers. They catered for our needs and were very supportive and understanding. I would very highly recommend them to anyone.

I used John Weir in Gillingham to arrange my mum's funeral following a good experience 3 years ago when they organised my dad's. Once again I really couldn't fault a thing. The service I received from Deana was excellent. She was so patient and compassionate and nothing was too much trouble. She even phoned me the day before mum's funeral to go through everything to make sure it was how we wanted it to be.
Simon, who was in charge on the day, was also excellent making sure we were happy with everything and checking all was in order in the chapel before we entered.
I really cannot recommend John Weir enough, they made a difficult time an awful lot easier for us all.

We received an absolute excellent service from Deana and all at John Weirs. Initially we were working under a tight time frame and Deana pulled out all of the stops to help us give our Mum the send off she deserved. Then when unforeseen circumstances changed our plans, Deana was again on hand to ensure that everything was sorted and changed for the later date. I would highly recommend John Weir Funeral Directors, they were brilliant from the first time we walked in their office at Gillingham, very professional, very polite and treat with you with so much respect.
But the way my Son was looked after was second to none, they did an excellent job,nothing was too much trouble, I really can't praise them enough.
