S Stibbards & Sons’ Hadleigh funeral home provides a calm and tranquil atmosphere in which to make funeral arrangements. It has a private chapel of rest where families can spend precious time with their loved one, reassured that their funeral wishes are administered to. Should you prefer support in more familiar surroundings, a home visit can be arranged with a member of this caring funeral home.

Whether families prefer a full traditional funeral service, or a quiet farewell tailored to their needs, funeral director Martin Stibbards and his experienced staff aim to ensure that the arrangements fulfil every family’s wishes.

Stibbards offers a fleet of modern Jaguar hearses and limousines to ensure families and their loved one will travel in comfort, driven by their professional staff. Funerals can also be tailored with a traditional horse-drawn hearse, or vintage vehicles.

The Hadleigh funeral home is a member of the National Association of Funeral Directors and independent funeral homes association, SAIF and meets the high standards set by both.

It offers Golden Charter funeral plans to those who are considering the future, while as part of its support for families, it offers in-house bereavement counselling.

    Stibbards of Hadleigh have arranged 2 recent funerals for me. I have dealt with both Wendy and David, who are professional, yet very friendly and sympathetic. On both occasions they arranged for Rev David Coster to take the service which was perfect. Scott sensitively directed proceedings both times too and was caring and attentive. He even took time after each service to create little posies for me from the funeral flowers, which was a lovely touch and so much appreciated.

    Would recommend you guys anytime , it’s shame that my wife & I have already paid for Pure Cremation on our deaths .

    I cannot fault the way my dad was looked after . The Cortège was carried out with dignity and everything about it was first class . The staff were helpful when booking the funeral and made the whole process painless in an otherwise upsetting time .

    Couldn't be better....very kind and considerate and fulfilled all of our needs, including one or two special requests. Extremely professional appearance on the day too. Good to know that they were happy to do everything under the previously arranged funeral plan.
