A fantastic send off for our mum. Fiona has been amazing from start to finish. She has been so kind and compassionate and even helped us out at weekends as we live so far away. We couldn’t of got through it without her. One of our relations commented that it was the loveliest funeral they had been to. So thank you so much.

Formerly an Ilkeston Co-op Funeral Service branch, this home was incorporated by the A W Lymn group in 2003, and then moved next door to a refurbished premises in 2009 and given the title Barton House.
The premises offer a large reception area, two visiting rooms, a private arranging office and there is off-street parking available.
Kevin Hall is the area manager and the office is run by funeral director Fiona Hall.
The office opening times are Monday to Friday 9am to 5pm, but an appointment can be scheduled by calling at any time day or night, seven days a week.
The branch covers all of Spondon and its surrounding area including Alvaston, Borrowash, Chaddesden, Draycott, Elvaston, Oakwood, Ockbrook, Risley and beyond.
A W Lymn is a family owned business since its establishment in 1907 and is currently owned by Jackie, Matthew and Nigel Lymn Rose.

The team were really helpful as well as showing great compassion. The planning of the funeral undertaken with a real understanding of what we as a family needed. The funeral itself then went ahead without any "glitches" and gave much comfort at a very sad time.

Fiona made the whole process very easy and comforting at a very sensitive time. Her easygoing nature helped make dealing with my bereavement easier by keeping n regular contact as I was based in Coventry.
