What Families Say
AI SummaryMany families mention the attentive care and support they received from staff, particularly in how they were guided through each stage of planning and made to feel at ease during a distressing time. Several describe how this support continued on the day of the funeral itself, with staff present and responsive to the family's needs throughout.
Communication and regular contact are subjects families return to often, with many noting they received updates by phone and email, felt welcome to visit the office at any time, and appreciated being kept informed of arrangements as they progressed.
A number of reviews note that families felt the service was personal rather than formulaic, with staff taking time to understand their wishes, accommodating requests without pressure, and ensuring nothing felt like too much trouble, which families say made a genuinely difficult time more bearable.

I just wanted to take a moment to express my heartfelt thanks and to recognise the exceptional care and support that Fiona provided to our family leading up to, and during, my Dad’s funeral. From the very beginning, it was incredibly reassuring to know that Fiona was there, quietly supporting everything behind the scenes whilst overseeing every detail. She always brought a sense of upliftment, warmth, calmness and gentleness, together with grace, dignity and compassion. Fiona has a wonderful balance of confidence, professional integrity and diligence, whilst also being incredibly attentive and conscientious. She always seemed to know exactly the right thing to say and what to do at the right moment. Her reassuring presence and care made an enormous difference to us. All of this allowed us to navigate such a difficult time and focus on saying our goodbyes to my Dad in the best way possible. It all felt completely personal to us. Families are incredibly fortunate to have someone like Fiona, and the rest of the wonderful team, supporting them at such a difficult time. Fiona is a real credit to A.W. Lymn. Everyone who supported us was wonderful throughout, and the care, dignity and respect shown to my Dad is something we will always appreciate. Many thanks and warmest regards, Natalie Banks
