A very close friend of mine passed away
As soon as I stepped into lymns.kevin greeted me and was very sympathetic and assured me shelia would be looked after by them .which was lovely news to hear ...to make the arrangements I delt with fiona who is absolutely lovely she makes you feel so welcome and listens to everything you suggests and help along the way ...Fiona dealt with my dad's funeral too 10 years ago and was the same beautiful lady then .nothing is too much trouble....im a hairdresser and in our shop we talk alot about everything and I always recommend fiona and kevin at lymns as they have had such an impact on our life ...I wouldn't go anywhere else and when the time comes for me I no they will do me proud xxxx

From start to finish we have had nothing but outstanding service especially from Fiona Hall. The initial appointment was very hard for me but Fiona talked us through everything with compassion and understanding. Regular phone calls to check we were ok and regular updates. Mark Chapman the celebrant was calming respectful and compassionate with a beautiful service for mum. Cannot thank them enough for their help and understanding

From just minutes after the passing of our dear mother/-in-law, Director, Fiona Hall from Lymn’s was there for us. She and her team arrived promptly, giving Mum a dignified transportation from her home, to their smart Spondon branch. Their kindness, respect and professionalism made the worst day or our lives turn out to be smooth and reassured.

Lymn’s professionalism did not end there; throughout the entire process, Fiona ensured that we were supported, guided and comfortable with our choices and requests. Nothing was too much trouble and our wishes were always at heart of any decisions and duly accommodated. Always at the end of the phone, we were also welcomed to speak in person in the smart Director’s office, given hot drinks to pave our way through selections of of coffins, stunning in-house flowers, how and where we would like her funeral to be conducted and support to ensure our selected music was available too! Any bespoke requests were confidently confirmed as do-able and carried out to perfection on the day. Fiona dealt with much of the painful work on our behalf, whereby she contacted the burial ground, florist, church, orders of service, Telegraph announcements, our selected charities for donations – practically everything we would’ve found too traumatic to do ourselves and all included within the set price that was clearly given upon our first visit.

The day itself went like clockwork thanks to Lymn’s organisation and attention to detail; with a fabulous fleet of luxury silver Rolls-Royce we had a beautiful funeral and burial. We felt totally supported whereby we could just focus on ourselves and our needs, as our emotions were embraced by Lymn’s, thus affording moments of laughter, contrasted by moments of pure sadness.

Everything that we could’ve wished for was fulfilled with outstanding professionalism and compassion, for which we shall be forever grateful.

Commendations go to Fiona for her commitment and dedication to her role. Worth every single penny. Thank you, Fiona, and to your amazing team; you’re very special human beings

We were recommended Lymns at Spondon by a family friend for our mum’s funeral.
From the very beginning Fiona Hall was exceptional. She showed genuine kindness and compassion, making an incredibly difficult time more manageable.
Fiona made us feel supported throughout rather than overwhelmed.
One small but incredibly meaningful gesture that will stay with us forever - on the day of the funeral Fiona wore a tie that perfectly matched the colour of mums funeral flowers. It was a thoughtful, personal touch that showed us how much attention she gave to honouring our mum.
We would also like to thank Karen the celebrant for the beautiful service she led for mum.
We cannot thank them enough for helping us celebrate mums life in such a special way.

This is not the first time we have used their services. On every occasion the staff have gone over and beyond their duties and genuinely looked after my family. Nothing is too much trouble. Quiet and courteous at all times but friendly and compassionate. Fiona and the staff at Spondon have been outstanding. My heartfelt thanks to them all.

My experience with AW Lynm Spondon was absolutely amazing. My relationship with Fiona from beginning to end was extremely professional, tender, understanding and without doubt the best experience I’ve ever had from an undertaker’s. So much so if anything ever happened to me I would want Fiona to do my service. I can’t praise her enough.

The funeral service has been excellent from start to finish. Fiona Hall was our primary point of contact who skilfully and compassionately directed us through the whole process including the beautiful Welsh themed Orders of Service and matching family flowers.

Fiona ensured that we achieved a very fitting and lovely funeral, and a final farewell to mum. Other staff we briefly interfaced with (e.g. Kevin) were also kind and courteous to us, and to the whole family on the day of the funeral.

First class service. Fiona Hall at the Spondon branch provided advice and empathy at all stages and met all our requirements. We felt that she was giving us full and exclusive attention throughout.
One slight minus point. The online obituary page was of little benefit to us although perhaps helpful to other clients. In particular, the procedure for making on line donations seems clumsy in its use of the just giving page. In our case it was not clear from the original name of the charity on from the link to the just giving site that donations would be directed to the intended charity. Together with the Padley Centre, Fiona devised a bespoke link that clarified things somewhat.
I would suggest that rather than using just giving, your obituary page have a link for donations to be made directly to an account under your control, with appropriate donor name input, that would identify the deceased's nominated charity and enable you ultimately to transfer the donations received from all souces to the nominated charity.

I will be eternally grateful for the service provided at such an emotional time of my mother's passing.

Fiona is amazing, we had met her when she arranged my Father in Lawsfuneral last year so delighted that she is still with Lymns when it came to arrange my mums funeral.
