All the family were very pleased with the professional standard of service received from Gillotts.
The experienced staff were always kind, friendly and helpful.
The funeral was faultless, care was taken to ensure that the arrangements were clearly understood by everyone taking part.
The celebrant they suggested was caring, taking the time to listen and improve on all the suggestions for the service.

Compassion, empathy and respect for myself and my deceased partner. Well organised.My thanks to Danni, Helen who at the funeral, made me feel special, the pallbearers and driver who looked so smart with their red ties and who had wet conditions to deal with at the graveside.
Also Zowie who has been so patient, helpful, understanding and nothing has been too much trouble.
Thank you all again.

Cannot recommend highly enough, from day 1 they were beyond caring and professional in every way possible, all staff were amazing but Anthony especially helped keep me calm during the most sad,stressful,anxious time of my life.
Nothing was to much trouble and everything ran perfectly for the worst day of my life, laying my partner to rest after 49 years together.

Gillotts Funeral Directors, what can I say, they arranged everything for me taking all the worry and stress away right from the outset to the very end of the funeral allowing me to mourn in my own time.
I am eternally grateful to Danni and Zowie for being so compassionate and understanding of my needs and for being always available to help when needed.
My sadness and heartache will never go away but at least my dear wife’s funeral went without a hitch and everyone who attended agreed that it was a lovely service.

I never would have thought that strangers could become almost good friends in a short period of time. The guys here are amazing and nothing is too much and nothing is a silly idea. They are compassionate as well as giving a real human touch in such a difficult time.

Anthony Topley and his team have been so compassionate and caring both with planning and implementing our mums cremation. During one of the most difficult times for our family, the staff (particularly Danni and Zoey) showed exceptional compassion and professionalism. From the very first conversation, they were patient, kind and attentive to every detail. They took the time to explain all options clearly and never made us feel rushed or pressured.
The service was handled with great care and dignity, and everything was organised exactly as promised.
Their support made a painful experience much more manageable, and we are deeply grateful for the respect and empathy they showed.

Gillotts dealt with my father's funeral and most recently my aunty's. Hannah in the Stapleford branch was exemplary and very professional. Nothing was too much trouble and ran seamlessly. Anthony our driver introduced himself before the funeral and was very courteous and polite and again made sure everything ran so smoothly. Can't recommend them enough. We will be buying our own funeral plan through Gillotts after these experiences. Well done

Gillotts have been absolutely fantastic. We have lost both of parents within a couple of months of each other and with both of them we used Gillotts.

They are extremely professional, explain everything so clearly and are very sensitive to how you are feeling. Every single person that we have met there have been amazing and so helpful.

I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking for support and help during a very difficult time.
