One word…..outstanding.
Never having organised a funeral before, I felt fully supported by an approachable, genuinely sincere and professional team (Shirlee and Kieth) who had everything well in hand to guide and help me (without the formal “stuffiness” and needless expense of other companies), when I asked, to plan the arrangements for my Mums funeral from the outset.  They helped me give Mum the personal and individual tailored funeral Mum deserved and this helped our family feel more at ease when saying our final goodbyes.
The fact that it is a family business who are small enough to care, flexible to accommodate your wishes, offer positive empathy and have a clear desire to help you achieve a fitting tribute for the family or friend you have lost, is clear to see at every stage.
Nothing was too much trouble.  On the day of the service, everything was perfect.  They offered options and solutions to dilemmas, we’re available when needed and I would not hesitate to highly recommend them to anyone who asked.

I had never planned a funeral before. It was daunting and I was in unknown territory. I was in London and my uncle lived and then died in Sheffield. I was given JK Knights number and from the moment they picked up the phone, I knew I had chosen the right family run funeral directors. They put me at ease, gently guided me through the process with such kindness, respect and thoroughness. They were so considerate to my deceased family member, they cared about him as I did. Every step of the way, even with the distance, I felt like I was being cared for, they kept in communication with me, they paid attention to the finer details and it all resulted in a beautiful send off. Thank you Shirlee and Jamie for being there in this difficult time for me and my family.
