Kevin at J.F. Knight was wonderful. He answered all my questions and was always available, despite the 8 hour time difference. His caring, compassionate help and advice made such a very sad time bearable.
Jamie was there for my brother's funeral service and a lasting memory is of him leading the hearse on foot through the cemetery.
I will never forget the genuine and gentle empathy shown by both Kevin and Jamie, and then Shirlee when I picked my brother's ashes.
No request was too much, from helping me order the flowers, arranging the wake, to emailing me my brother's tribute immediately after the service.
This whole experience could have been far more challenging, as I live abroad and had to arrange everything from a distance. Kevin made me feel as if I was in Sheffield, instead of thousands of miles away.
I am so grateful to all at J.F. Knight for helping and guiding me every step of the way.

Kevin and the team were lovely from the very start.

Very understanding and caring throughout the whole process.

After listening to our needs and mums wishes they offered advice and guidance without pressure.
They arranged a meeting with Elle who spoke at mum's funeral as we didn't want a service all based on religion and wanted the day to be focused on how special mum was and what her life was all about.

They couldn't have picked a better person for the job.
She was down to earth and made us feel at ease from hervwalkung through the door.
She had an amazing ability to tell mums life story perfectly as if she had known her for herself.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend knights and Elle to anyone who finds themselves in the heartbreaking situation of arranging funeral for a loved one, they all went above and beyond.

From start to finish, the team guided us with kindness and patience, making a very emotional time feel just a little more manageable. Every detail and all request was handled with respect, and the service itself was a true reflection of Ashley’s life and spirit.




One of the most touching elements was the music — played loud, just as Ashley would have wanted. It brought out his wonderfully quirky personality and filled the space with the energy and warmth he was known for. It was emotional, uplifting, and so authentically him.




Thank you for helping us celebrate Ashley in a way that truly honoured who he was. Your support and attention to detail meant the world to us.  You looked after my son like we always did thank you.

I never thought planning a funeral would be so calming and that is because of J F Knight Funerals (Kevin). He kept calling me to inform me of anything, re-assured me, just talked to me. He arranged everything for me, even found the grave I needed for burial. He collected Roger from Blackpool and took him back to Sheffield where they dressed him in his suit and looked after him.

Very personal but professional service. Thank you all at Jamie Kinghts, for your care of Dads funeral.
