I was broken when Jamie came to see my to make arrangements for my fiancé’s funeral. He did exactly what I needed him to do. He has calm and collected, but empathic, kind and patient and really helped make the most traumatic event that little less painful.

We lost our mother in November 2020. It was a difficult and heartbreaking time for us as a family and I have to say we had little idea of how to cope with a funeral.

We need not have worried. The team at J.F.Knight were amazing. They guided us through all of the process and ensured that everything went very well.

I cannot thank them enough for their support both practical and emotional through the most difficult time of our lives. Any problems we encountered there was always someone at the end of the phone to deal with it in a calm and sensitive manner, usually Shirlee who was a fantastic support. They were professional at all times and I cannot praise them enough.

A very heartfelt thankyou to some amazing people.

Jamie and his team are amazing I am so grateful for all their help and support during the loss of my mum.  They give 100% to helping you arrange the most difficult job ever and I couldn’t have done this without them.  The funeral they  provided was so professional and sensitive to our needs.  Jamie also did my brothers funeral 5 years ago and one of my mums wishes were to have them do her funeral as I know she was so grateful of the service they gave us then. I would certainly recommend JF knight funeral directors. The language/terminology they used brought great reassurance to me and my family. They kept referring to looking after mum and taking care of her and that meant a lot  ! Knowing she was in such good hands was very comforting and I know mum would have appreciated it! Their compassion and patience were boundless and their expert guidance and direction proved invaluable especially in the middle of a pandemic! They were very professional and took care of every little detail and their high standard took the worry and pressure off us. I think mum would have been proud to have had such a well organised and good sendoff! Thankyou

Jamie, Shirley and the rest of the team could not do enough from the moment they took Karl into their care. They helped with every little question I had and there was quite a few. Made us feel at ease when visiting Karl at the chapel of rest, and the day of the funeral, they made sure everything ran perfectly x

I wish you could leave 6 stars, Jamie was extremely caring, friendly but professional while arranging my husbands funeral, he, Kevin or Shirlee were always available to answer any questions we had and nothing was too much trouble for them, he advised us on many alternative  aspects we which very much appreciated due to COVID restrictions and his suggestions for the order of service were perfect. On the day of the funeral, the silver cars looks wonderful as did Jamie and all his staff in there smart attire and everything went 100% smoothly, I also found it very respectful that Jamie walked in front of the car for a few minutes when leaving our home. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Jamie to anyone. Thank you for everything Dawn & Aaron ❤️

were totally professional in all aspects from the beginning to the end. I would certainly recommend them to anyone, they showed compassion, dignity, and respect to all our family and friends. In our opinion they are second to none...the best FD's around and very fairly priced. Their staff were also very smartly dressed and courteous at all times. Overall we was provided with the best quality service and it was our own tailor made funeral. Nothing was too much trouble for them, they gave us 100% satisfaction. They were brilliant and we all was delighted with this firm.
No doubt they have become our family funeral directors and good friends.

Saying goodbye to dad was an extremely emotional day for all the family. The current situation involving restrictions on travel and socialising made arrangements more difficult than usual. In spite of all this JF Knight provided the family with all available options, including flowers, cards, music, an online solution for family and friends to leave memories of dad, a webcast service for those that could not attend the service and how we would like to coordinate the whole service, having as much involvement as we liked. This helped us through the process of providing dad a compassionate and well organised funeral service that he deserved and the result was second to none. We found JF Knight a true credit to the service and are highly recommended. Thank you.

I was very impressed by the team at JF Knight Funeral Director Services. From the start Jamie and Shirlee were friendly, helpful and supportive and made every effort to ensure the service went as well as possible, including providing flowers, liaising with the celebrant (who conducted an excellent ceremony), helping to set up a memorial web page for my late brother, and arranging for the event to be available for those who could not be there in person to watch live by webcam and later as a recorded version. I thought the ceremony itself provided exactly the right combination of solemnity and intimacy and gave my brother an excellent send-off. I warmly recommend them.

As a family we had nothing to compare this funeral directors with as it was our first loss of a close relative but I am all for supporting small local businesses and I am so glad we made the choice to go with J.F.Knights to look after my father in law and arrange his funeral.

From start to finish they were absolutely fantastic at supporting us with our loss and helping us to make decisions we was initially unsure about, we didn’t feel rushed to do anything.

On the day of the funeral the hearse arrived and as we followed the car out of the small estate, Shirlee walked in front of the car until we reached the road.
They put us in touch with the perfect celebrant who spoke about my father in law like he had known him all his life.
We have had lots of comments about how good the service was.

They then collected the ashes from the crematorium for us and transferred them into our chosen urn as requested. It’s the little things that was so well thought out that made it special for us.

The small team of people they have that make up the business go above and beyond for grieving families and treat the body of the deceased as they would their own family, tending to them with care and compassion.

Some people may argue that is their job but the care that was shown to us was second to non. I will never use anyone else when ever I loose a loved one in the future so it goes without saying that I would definitely recommend them as a business.

Thank you to Jamie, Shirlee, Kevin and anyone I have missed at JFKnights, you did Neil proud and we are truly great full. Keep up your amazing work ☺️
