Have used Lymns twice now. They treat you like you are the only one going through a bereavement. The service they give is outstanding.

I am really happy with the services from A W Lynn. All dealt with me compassionately and with great care at what was a very difficult time. Never having to have dealt with a funeral before Emma talked me through everything involved from registering the death, ensuring my mum was looked after at the funeral parlour, requirements for the cremation, choosing the Celebrant and sorting out the charity donations which we had instead of flowers. She was with me every step of the way and couldn't have been more caring and helpful. Mark, who looked after us at the service and the bearers were so good and very respectful. The Celebrant who was chosen for me was so kind and considerate and brilliant with my dad who was obviously in great distress at losing is wife of 62 years.

This is the first time i have had to organise a funeral and we dealt with David Clarke. He walked us through everything step by step and didn't try and sell us anything extra.
He was genuine, empathetic and very professional. This made a very difficult time easier to cope with and organise.

Such kind and thoughtful service throughout the whole process of arranging a funeral for my darling brother, who was taken from me so quickly and suddenly that I just couldn't process everything, but Nicola and Michelle were so kind and sympathetic and helped guide me through everything. Nothing was too much trouble, even when I lost internet during the organisation, they came round to my house and dropped paper copies of anything I needed to see and approve. In the most positive way, I hope I don't need their service for many years to come.

The service received was caring and professional from the first contact until the last. The ladies in the office dealt with it all and was very efficient. On the funeral day the funeral directors were also very professional and respectful. The service was delivered by a lovely lady Tracey Matthews. We had asked for someone who was not a vicar as requested by the deceased to deliver the service and she delivered it beautifully. Thanks to all !

From start to finish everything was perfect and to a very high standard. Nothing was too much trouble. We were supported and dealt with in a professional, friendly manner.
The deceased, was treated with dignity and respect.
Tracey, the celebrant suggested by Mick at Lymns, was excellent. Very caring and thoughtful. We felt comfortable with her from the start.
I would definitely recommend AW Lymn.

In a time of confusion, emotions and the ability to think straight in what is a very short time to organise the burial of loved ones, you need support and clarity from complete strangers to guide you through both the process of but also the moment of great emotional out pouring on the day, you will not do wrong by asking and putting your trust in Lymn''s to assist in everything that is very new to anyone, the guidance through the professionalism of all the staff before, on the day and after is more than just a business to them.
They are human too and understand everything that is alien to the individual.
Many thanks to Joanna and especially Nigel for their personal support in our moment of time of reflection for mum.
They went out of their way to accomadate all of our expectations and guidance of the technicallaties.

As you are aware I have known your brother Michael for approaching 40 years and it was a privilege to be asked to personally oversee the funeral of your mother. I think I commented on the day that the service in the Chapel was delightful and I was so impressed to see the involvement of so many family and friends and it was a real pleasure to see the younger generation so much involved. As a family we always use AW Lymn because you are always professional and never disappoint. You were considerate, supportive, compassionate and patient. Your celebrant Malcom conducted an excellent service, capturing my husband perfectly. Mark looked after my elderly mother in law who was in a wheel chair ensuring she was comfortable and never rushed. I am sincerely grateful.

Donna from AW Lymn conducted Linda's funeral with quiet dignity and efficiency. No 'upselling' of extras, just leaving it to us to decide what we wanted. Steve Eustace gave a warm and friendly eulogy. I would be happy to recommend both of them.
