Throughout our discussions with John Pearce, my family and I, felt well supported. He treated us with dignity and respect and listened carefully to our requests.  As Mr Pearce guided us, he was also happy to answer our questions and gave us advice on the hymns and  flowers that we had chosen.  As we had decided that we wanted a printed service sheet to commerate our mother's life Mr Pearce was equally knowledgeable in this area.  His offer to prayer for us was also very touching which I thank Mr Pearce for.   On the day of the funeral we were guided by him and everything was handled with compassion.  This is why I have rated Pearce Funeral Service as 'excellent'.  Equally the service was delivered beautifully by the Revd. George Fleming. For anyone going through such a difficult process as this, rest assured Mr Pearce will be by your side.

Compassionate, helpful,supportive and respectful. The Chapel of Rest arrangements were very thoughtful. We were numb from shock and they guided us gently through the nightmare.They did not do a hard sell on anything and made a dreadful time bearable.
Now the funeral is over I have had time to think and reflect, I have no regrets on any arrangements made at their suggestion.

Having used Pearce funeral services once, I will never use another company when it's next needed.

They were absolutely remarkable, planning a funeral is one of the hardest things you have to do but John and the team took all the stress from us, they did everything as my father wanted and the attention to detail was lovely, they showed love, compassion and respect from start to finish and I can't thank them enough.

We cannot thank Pearce Funeral Service enough for their empathetic and understanding arrangement of our son's recent funeral. During the darkest 3 weeks of our lives they were with us at every stage, offering advice and assistance. From start to finish.the lady on the phone explained all the prices so I could understand it at this horrible time.When we went to see John who explained everything.The funeral day John was there to guide us through it..they made this time so much easier.i will have no problems using Pearce again..cant thank them enough

Belinda was the main person dealing with arrangements for my Dad's funeral. She was extremely well organised, with great attention to detail and yet friendly & sensitive in her approach. I felt confident in Pearce's abilities during the whole process, especially considering the passing of a loved one is a difficult time. They provided sound advice & relevant & useful information. After discussing preferences on the type of funeral, Marjorie Jefferies was recommended to conduct the service and Purple Orchid a florist. All proved to be perfect choices ensuring the preparations and the funeral ran smoothly. I appreciated the genuine interest of staff as to what suited us. As a small family firm, I found them more personable compared with 2 larger firms of whom I made enquiries. I would thoroughly recommend them, & I am so pleased we chose them. Sam Murray
