David was brilliant from the beginning and put us at ease and guided and supported us through the process. David was also very caring and showed compassion through our very difficult time.
Collum was very kind and caring and showed respect for how we wanted the service to be carried out, he really captured my dad and his personality and this made the service really special.
Also the lady driver who took us to the service was really caring and supportive during the drive which put us at ease at a difficult time.
We would like to thank everyone involved and we would highly recommend your services to family and friends.
The office is located at Standard House, on Chesterfield Road South, and is a two storey building directly across from the Catholic Church of Saint Philip Neri. Standard House was opened on 12th July 2005 by Dr. Nigel Chapman, H. M. Coroner for Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, to better serve Mansfield’s families.
The premises include a reception area, visitation rooms, family room, off-street parking, some garaging for our fleet cars and cold room facilities.
Funeral director David Clarke is in charge of the office and Jonathan Baker is the senior funeral director responsible for the area. David is available at the funeral home from 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday. Alternatively you can arrange an appointment at your convenience if you are unable to visit the office during opening hours. The telephone line is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The branch covers all of Mansfield and its surrounding area including Berry Hill, Blidworth, Church Warsop, Clipstone, Forest Town, Harlow Wood, Ladybrook, Mansfield Woodhouse, Pleasley, Rainworth, Ravenshead, Shirebrook, Warsop, Warsop Vale and beyond.
Established in 1907, A W Lymn The Family Funeral Service is owned and managed by the Lymn Rose family. Nowadays, Nigel, Jackie and Matthew Lymn Rose run the company.

It is such a stressful and emotionally charged time. Everyone at Lymn’s were so very accommodating and considerate and respectful at every point.Professional to the end and missing no detail. Excellent service from start to end. All you need to do is meet with the team to discuss your wishes and they will do everything else. Very simple process. A very special mention to David Clarke and Wendy Walker for taking us through the process and assisting with everything we asked for. The service at the crematorium was beautiful and helped ease the pain of the loss of our Dad.
Jean Sharpe was the Celebrant that David recommended and she did an excellent job at the initial meeting and at the service.
Finally, more special mentions to the team of drivers who ensured that we got to the service despite heavy snow and road closures caused by accidents. They were very calm throughout the journey and got us there safely.

From our first meeting at the undertakers to the funeral itself. Everyone has been amazing. It was a very difficult day with the snow and they battled through, they where fantastic.
