The service and care that my family and myself received from David and his team at Mansfield was fantastic. Nothing seemed to faze David, everything was organised and in hand and nothing was too much trouble. At a time when we find it difficult to cope with the simplest of tasks and are unable to think clearly, it's very reassuring to have someone to go to who understands completely how you feel and treats you with compassion and respect, regardless of how you are dealing with your grief. Simply cannot thank David and the team enough.

The office is located at Standard House, on Chesterfield Road South, and is a two storey building directly across from the Catholic Church of Saint Philip Neri. Standard House was opened on 12th July 2005 by Dr. Nigel Chapman, H. M. Coroner for Nottingham and Nottinghamshire, to better serve Mansfield’s families.
The premises include a reception area, visitation rooms, family room, off-street parking, some garaging for our fleet cars and cold room facilities.
Funeral director David Clarke is in charge of the office and Jonathan Baker is the senior funeral director responsible for the area. David is available at the funeral home from 9 am to 5 pm Monday to Friday. Alternatively you can arrange an appointment at your convenience if you are unable to visit the office during opening hours. The telephone line is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week.
The branch covers all of Mansfield and its surrounding area including Berry Hill, Blidworth, Church Warsop, Clipstone, Forest Town, Harlow Wood, Ladybrook, Mansfield Woodhouse, Pleasley, Rainworth, Ravenshead, Shirebrook, Warsop, Warsop Vale and beyond.
Established in 1907, A W Lymn The Family Funeral Service is owned and managed by the Lymn Rose family. Nowadays, Nigel, Jackie and Matthew Lymn Rose run the company.

We would like to thank A.W.Lymn. for helping us to give our dad George Thomas Clarke the best send off ever. We had some unusual and specific request and all were achieved with the help and support of an amazing team we would like to thank Jonathon for making very difficult decisions easier with his friendly and receptive approach.his advise was invaluable and informative. We would also like to give a huge thank you to Stacey who took such great care of the whole family when we visited George in the chapel of rest we all left George with a smile and that was due to you Stacey. We would like Lynn's to pass on a huge thank you to our celebrant drew he did us proud he delivered dad's service with the humour befitting a fun loving man a big thank you to you all from family and friends of George Thomas Clarke

David Combe was friendly,professional and kind. Everything went very smoothly. He took over many of the arrangements for us which was a great help and relief.
The cars were beautiful and the drivers were prompt and respectful .

From the moment I stepped into the premises on Chesterfield Road I felt the aura of kindness and professional approach especially David. All things to do with the care of Mum, arrangement of funeral, logistics, care and support on the day were excellent. A glitch in admin was quickly addressed: Lymns responded well to our feedback, and all staff made sure it was put right straight away.

We had previously had Lymn's for my dad's funeral four years ago, and were so impressed then, that we decided to have them again for mum's yesterday. They are extremely friendly, kind and sensative, and very professional. David Combe, at the Mansfield branch, always has time for you, never tries to rush you, and goes through every aspect of planning the funeral with you, with great care and understsnding. I would highly recommend them.

The service by A W LYMN was without doubt excellent in all aspects of the funeral of my late mother.

The organising of a funeral, at a time when emotions are high and it’s difficult to make decisions, A W Lymn and their staff are there to relieve you of the stress you are feeling. They are able to advise and support you through this difficult time.
David Combe at the Mansfield Office was an exceptional support, nothing was to much trouble and we felt that our Mum was being cared for. The organising of the funeral and the service available was amassing and we appreciated everything which was done to help and support us.
I would highly recommend A W Lymn a caring team who you can trust.
