It was an excellent funeral service from start to finish
I didn't have any worries because the staff handled everything for me. My first impression was how warm and understanding they were.
I really loved the flowers and the two funeral men were amazing on the day of the funeral

From the first phone call to meeting up with Lois. The whole service was top quality. The accommodated us so weak. Took the strain out of everything. And the Celabrant dave the put into us was outstanding. Everyone commented on the whole service. Even down to the drivers wearing red ties to fit in with the 6 carrying the coffin. Thanks once again. Debbie Bennett's Independent Funeral Directors can only be described as the ultimate service in funeral care. I went there with no idea how to arrange a funeral, the first person I seen was Debbie Bennett herself & within I'd say 6 minutes we had a date for my beautiful brave Mum's funeral. We were introduced to Lois who sat with us & talked us through how to arrange a funeral, you forget half the things you wanted to ask & that wasn't a problem as Lois asked us everything constantly reassuring us, explaining what would happen next & next after that & it was just like she explained & they're there constantly via WhatsApp & that made the whole thing so smooth no having to ring & be on hold on the phone just no stress whatsoever, completely understanding of everyone's emotions, somehow knowing when you needed a cup of tea, you've got to know them a little better by then & it really does make the difference, it may be their job but this was more than providing a service, you're seeing the staff like Dave who picked my Mum up & he's giving us hugs made up to see us asking how we're doing & you remember how he told you my Mum would be well looked after & Mum was more than looked after they treated her like one of their own, the lady who got Mum ready pops in to check we're all happy with how Mum looks & we can't seem to explain to her how beautiful she's made Mum look & again it may be their job but this was levels above of the homework I'd done on funeral directors. The other staff there treat you exactly the same as the person organising the funeral it's like they've known you years the way they are with the whole family, nothing was a problem to ask. They prepare you for the day of the funeral & Debbie comes to the house the day before runs through it all & everyone feels the dread of it & that dread is taken away with how compassionate you see she is & the support from the whole team Lois, Amy, Anne, Helen, Gemma, Dave who was there with us from start to finish I've never known support & encouragement like it, I wish I could tell the world go to Debbie Bennett's you just will not believe how good they all are, we'll forever be grateful to them all for all they did for us ❤️

The team were very professional from the first meeting with Ann through to the day of Mum's service. They provided care and support at a very difficult time. We were so pleased that our wish to visit Mum' nursing home on route to the Crematorium was accommodated with such dignity and grace. Thank you all on behalf of all the Cook family.
