We were delighted with the excellent service. Both before and after the actual service, the team did everything they could - ensuring that we had exactly what we wanted. On the day of the funeral, Stephen ensured that we were ok and explained what was happening as we went along, making the day as painless as possible.

Respectful, professional, friendly firm. Gave great advice and understood our requirements. Managed our situation with empathy and sensitivity. Have used Stephan Gay previously and the team were just as good then. The actual cremation and service, managed by one of the recommended celebrants, Sarah, was also just as we had hoped for. Thanks to Stephen, Pauline, Mel and the team for taking such good care of us. Would certainly recommend.

Everything went smoothly and according to plan thanks to you efficiency and ability to make us feel at ease. 
We wanted very much to celebrate my husbands life and particularly wish to thank and commend Scott Low the Life Celebrant for leading the service so beautifully. It was a sad day for the family but also uplifting.

We were so pleased that we chose Gays to arrange the funeral of our mum. All of those that we dealt with were both sympathetic and professional to our requests. Very impressed with the immaculate cars. One small observation was that the premises in Longfield needs updating and does not reflect the service we received.

Throughout our period of loss and grief the team were always thoughtful and helpful allowing us to create the funeral and final farewell to Dad that  was personal to him and us.  We all felt we gave Dad the best farewell and tribute to him, thank you

We had brilliant support and service from Stephen P Gay Funeral Service, the whole team in Longfield did everything they could be make the lead up to the day, the day itself and afterwards easy for us.  When Mum passed we called them at 4:30 am and they came very quickly.  They led us through everything we needed to do with good humour and were very respectful.  Setting up the music and photos for the event was easy and the streaming service worked very well.  We send our sincere thanks to the whole team.

A funeral especially when it's for your Mum will never be easy. Stephen Gay was absolutely brilliant. The team in Longfield, in particular Pauline was so helpful in sorting out arrangements and allowing the family to visit Mum on several occasions before the funeral. On the day Stephen was a true professional with experience allowing him to show the right level of sympathy and respect while guiding us through what would happen. It turned out to be a beautiful day to say goodbye to Mum and the family thank Stephen for his kindness

Words alone can not express my gratitude to all at Stephen P Gay who guided me through and gave me strength in the organising of my husband’s funeral. That first call on a Sunday morning to Dominic, gave me the absolute confidence that I had made the right choice of Funeral Directors and that my husband’s final journeys were going to be in safe hands. Pauline was my next point of contact on the phone – I felt like I’d known her forever with her caring telephone manner. She was able to book and confirm the funeral date and time and put me in touch with the wonderful Celebrant – Sue Viner. She also set up my appointment to meet with the arranger at Longfield to discuss and make arrangements for the day. I could not have asked for a better Funeral Arranger – the arranger is a true professional with upmost empathy and who takes away any worries or concerns, gives you all the time you need and makes you feel you are their only client. Thank you also Nathalie. Communication over the following weeks was timely and spot on and when it came to the actual day Stephen and his team were exemplary which allowed the celebration of life to be as it should be.
No matter how much your world has fallen apart and you are heart broken when your loved one passes, one phone call to Stephen P Gay takes a huge burden from your shoulders.
