Losing a loved one is one of life's hardest experiences and W.J Farrier & Son Ltd, Dover were there to gently guide us through the whole process of planning the last goodbye. From the day my Mum was taken to the Funeral Parlour to the day her funeral service was held she was treated with the upmost dignity and respect and this was an immense comfort to myself and my family, helping us to navigate through feelings of immense loss and grief. The funeral service was truly heartfelt and beautiful, planned with so much care to celebrate who Mum was in this life and allowing her family - those nearest and those living afar - to partake in the service and cherish her memory. We can now visit Mum in her final resting place with a feeling of peace and I can truly say that Farrier & Son were the guiding light throughout.

From the moment I made contact with W J Farrier and Sons for our Father's funeral, I knew I'd contacted the right company. The warm, friendly and empathetic reception that we received was welcome at a time that was so difficult. There was no upselling, there was no pushing. It was a conversation with a moment to think about things, there was no rush. Everyone that I spoke with, especially Sarah, Kevin and Caroline, were friendly and kind. They went the extra mile. They took note of the little things and they guided us through the most difficult time with a soft and caring approach. It wasn't business, it was like being guided by friends. They helped with everything, and recommended a great local florist. The orders of service were beautiful, and captured our loved ones personality perfectly.
