Faultless. I would say above expectations but my sister chose Lee Fletchers for the funeral of her husband the year before. Which is why I chose them again for her funeral.

We were not from the area, and before our Auntie had even passed, the care home was pressuring us for funeral director details, which felt both inappropriate and upsetting. Thankfully, her neighbour recommended Lee Fletcher Funeral Directors, and we are so grateful they did. Right from the first contact they were super helpful in what was a very stressful situation.

We visited them the day after to make sure we were comfortable with the choice, as we knew nothing about them. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by Candice, who was incredibly kind, understanding, and truly lovely. Instantly, we felt reassured that our Aunt was in the right place.

With their guidance, we planned our Aunt’s big day, and I can honestly say that—being a bit of a control freak—I felt completely at ease throughout. Their communication was clear and consistent, and the entire process was transparent—no hidden costs, no surprises, just honesty and professionalism. Nothing was too much trouble.

On the day, Lee and his team handled everything with sensitivity and respect, gently guiding us through each step and giving us just the right nudge when needed. Despite the sadness of the occasion, we were able to celebrate our Aunt’s life in a way she would have loved, and we received many compliments about how the service felt “just right.”

A huge thank you to Candice, Jean, and Lee and his team on the day, for their care and dedication. They truly helped us create a beautiful and fitting farewell.

Lee and the team were amazing from start to finish. From the moment you walk in, you know you will be looked after. We lost our Dad very suddenly and the kindness, patience, professionalism and support was outstanding. We felt like Lee and his team were part of our family.

Dad was laid to rest in the most beautiful surroundings and so much care was taken to follow our wishes.

On the day of the funeral, Lee and the team made sure it ran perfectly and every detail we had planned was followed through. Nothing was too much trouble and Lee went above and beyond to source a particular song we wanted.

To loose Dad was heart wrenching, but Lee and his lovely team helped us give Dad the very best of send-offs. We cannot thank Lee or sing Lee and the teams praises enough. They were fantastic.
