Alison at Stibbards in Shoeburyness has been amazing in supporting our family whilst we planned my dads funeral. The level of care received not only from her, but the rest of the team has been exceptional throughout it all. My dad was well cared for and the sensitive attention to detail even from the first phone call we made was evident throughout. Thank you for making an extremely sad time bareable for us.

Having used Stibbards to help with the burial of our mother in 2023, the decision to re-use them again for our fathers recent burial was an easy one. They were excellent to deal with throughout. They get the details right, no matter how small or personal. Excellent communication leading up to the day, and perhaps most importantly, on the day itself. Our father was treated with the utmost dignity and the family treated with compassion. Our thanks to Alison at Shoebury office and Leo and his team on the day.

Based on my recent experience (March 2026), I cannot rate this company more highly. From the expert and compassionate advice and guidance I had from Alison to the professional and compassionate experience my family and I received on the day of the funeral from Scott, Ross and Darren.

The only 'bump in the road' was with production of the order of service; however, as soon as we raised the issue, it was sorted quickly and professionally.

I would highly recommend this company for anybody who has the unfortunate need to do so.

On behalf of our family, thank you so much for your help and guidance in planning Dad's funeral. From our initial phone call with Alison, then meeting, and all the contact leading up to the day, we felt in very safe hands, this was our first experience of arranging a funeral and although very hard you made the process much easier for us.
We couldn't have asked for more and the day was a perfect send off for Dad, everything ran smoothly and according to plan.
Scott was lovely, he and his team put us at ease and could not have done more for us on the day, they were very respectful, professional and personable.
