I have nothing but good things to say about Verity from the Hockley branch who handled our affairs. It was not a straight forward funeral and she was caring and helpful in guiding us through the problems. I would recommend both her and the Hockley branch.

Everything was perfect, except that the celebrant had to stop the service after he had started to go and turn on the photo gallery that we had asked for. We had the bubble machine which wasn't that good but it was a nice touch, I think it was the quality of the machine that let it down. These incidences did not affect the quality of the service we received and the team went above and beyond, sourcing a west ham flag for the coffin and wearing matching ties. Verity at Hockley branch was fabulous as always.

I was very pleased with the way my Dad’s funeral was arranged and very impressed with how organised it all was. Verity at the co-op in Hockley was particularly helpful. She was always there when we needed her and with exactly the right level of compassion. The arrangements on the day were just as we had requested and the staff were excellent. Jim made us all feel at ease and took charge to take the pressure off the family.

Fantastic level of support all the way through the process meant we never felt unsure of what we needed to do next. Verity in particular was sensitive and supportive but judged the mood perfectly, serious and sympathetic without being dour and miserable.  I would strongly recommend their services to anyone facing a funeral.

The funeral its self was planned very well, with lots of consideration thought through as the adult had a very small service. Thank you very much.
