Unfortunately I lost my Mum, Dad and Sister all in 10 months. Stibbards at Rayleigh Weir were amazing for all of my loved ones final journey. From the first phone call and throughout the whole process of arranging the funeral. Making sure the funeral plan was tailored to exactly what I wished for. They treated me with kindness and compassion and were there to answer any questions at all times. I would 100% recommend them to everyone.

We cannot thank Stibbards Funeral Directors enough for all the care, organisation and compassion shown to us throughout such a difficult time.

From beginning to end, we felt completely looked after. Scott was absolutely brilliant, keeping us informed every step of the way and making sure everything was taken care of. His kindness and compassion meant more than we can put into words. It was also the little personal touches that we will never forget, especially Scott putting his arm through mine and walking me in. That simple gesture brought such comfort at an incredibly emotional moment.

We would also like to give a very special mention to our celebrant, Jon Stannard, who was wonderful throughout. He conducted Pauls ceremony with such warmth, compassion and understanding and made it feel incredibly personal. One moment that will stay with me forever was Jon taking a rose from the coffin during the ceremony and giving it to me as a special keepsake. It was such a thoughtful and touching gesture, and something I will always treasure.

At a time when everything can feel overwhelming, having people around you who genuinely care makes such a difference. We are all so incredibly grateful for everything you did to make such a difficult day as beautiful, personal and comforting as it could possibly be.

Thank you so very much to everyone in the Stibbards team, you made us all feel so comforted during the whole process.  We really couldn’t have asked for any more.  

Our mother’s funeral was exactly as my sister and I had envisaged, a true celebration of her and her life.  The horse drawn carriage literally blew us and other people away in its poignancy.  The respect of the conductor and his team was immense.  We will be forever grateful to you all.

Martin and his team looked after Oscar (our 16 year old son) and us, his family from the day of his passing to the day of his funeral impeccably, I cannot fault a single thing.
Planning our child’s funeral was the hardest thing, but we was guided through every aspect, we was able to confidently ask questions, and communicate with Martin throughout from beginning to end. We was asked what we wanted, and all our expectations for Oscar's celebration of life service were met, and we couldn't ask for a better day for our boy. Their skills, and attention to details were perfect. And I am sure in weeks to come, they will still be the same in guiding us through all the next steps, but for now they are allowing us time to grieve following the service. Thank you for everything you have done for us and Oscar. X

This isn’t the first time we have used Stibbards, and there is a very good reason we continue to place our trust in them. They are incredibly professional, but above all, they genuinely care for both you and your loved one at what is such a difficult time.




They somehow manage to make an awful situation as smooth, dignified and personal as it possibly can be, allowing you to focus on remembering and celebrating your loved one in the very best way.

On this occasion, we also chose to use one of their specialised vehicles,  a beautiful old Bedford truck and wow, what an incredible job they did.

It was absolutely perfect and meant so much to us as a family. There really are no words to describe just how well everything was undertaken.

From beginning to end, we felt that our dad was treated with the utmost care, dignity and respect.

I would wholeheartedly recommend Stibbards to anyone. They are exceptional at what they do, and we will always be incredibly grateful for the care they showed our family.

I can’t praise Stibbards enough, they went above and beyond. It was the first time me and my family have arranged a funeral, Martin was very understanding and put us at ease and helped us to make the arrangements. We had a West Ham theme, Scott got a bubble machine and that really made a lovely send off for my husband. I would highly recommend Stibbards, and have left instructions for my funeral to be with Stibbards. The new building was so lovely that it didn’t seem like a funeral parlour which made it easier. I would just like to say that all the staff are very helpful and understanding.

We thought the conductor Scott and his team of men were excellent
Their demeanour was superb and gave us comfort and guidance at our daughters funeral

The office staff who we met Wendy and Karen were very
