The team were excellent especially Diane who spent so much time with us helping us arrange my mums funeral.  She kept in touch every step of the way and explained everything to us.  Additionally Scott was so supportive on the day.

I can’t thank Stibbards Funeral Directors enough for the care and compassion they showed during one of the hardest times of our lives. From start to finish, their support was truly exceptional.

Diane was absolutely wonderful — so caring, kind, and helpful. She guided us through everything with genuine empathy and patience, making a very difficult process feel just that little bit easier.

On the day of the funeral, Simon led us with calm professionalism and warmth. He made sure we all knew what was happening, and that we were okay every step of the way. Nothing ever felt rushed — we had time to reflect, especially when looking at the flowers, and that meant a lot.

Jon Stannard, who conducted the service, was just brilliant. He took the time to come to my mum’s house beforehand, listened to our stories, and really got to know who she was. On the day, he brought a sense of peace and even joy — he made us smile and laugh through our tears, turning the saddest of ... days into something truly meaningful and personal.

Thank you to everyone at Stibbards. I don’t have a bad word to say — your kindness will never be forgotten.

Everything was so well planned we did not have to worry about anything on the day. On time and everything went like clockwork. I doubt if any other company could have matched the organisation and execution of the ceremony from home to crematorium.

Many thanks to all at Stibbards & Sons for the wonderful funeral for my husband David on the 31st of January 2025. Special thanks to Diane and Scott who made a special contribution in such a sensitive and upsetting time for all the family.
Diane you were so kind and caring throughout the process that initially had been so traumatic for all the family. Your intervention had made a difference to us all coping throughout such a very sad and difficult time thank you so very much.
As David’s wife I cannot thank Scott enough for his wonderful care on the day as he looked after me so very very well. All my family were impressed with Scott’s caring and professionalism from the start until the end of the whole process on the actual day of David’s funeral. Moreover, we were all comforted by his lovely kind and caring way he dealt with our family both individually and as a group. We could not have asked for a better person than Scott to be with us looking after us on what had been the ...  saddest day of our lives. We all now can look back on the sad day feeling comforted by the professionals involved throughout the whole process of saying goodbye to a lovely caring husband Father and Grandfather. Thank you all.

The whole Stibbards team from my first, very emotional, contact through all the planning and preparation phase, visiting Dad in the chapel to say goodbye to the day of the funeral itself was handled with complete respect, consideration, calmness and professionalism. The whole family are grateful for the care and compassion from our Funeral Arranger, Diane Ellis and the most respectful attendance to detail by the Funeral Gentlemen led by Martin. The celebration of Brenda's life by the Officiant, Jon Stannard, was first class and many attendees have commented on how much they appreciated and enjoyed the manner in which he conducted the proceedings.
