The funeral director made the process very easy at this difficult time, we wanted a routemaster bus for my husband's funeral held at a natural burial ground and they did everything to ensure that all obstacles were overcome so our wishes could be carried out.the bus driver is to be commended and all who were involved on the day.family and friends all commented how impressed they were with how smoothly and organised the funeral was carried out.once again we would like to thank Lynn's for their excellent service.

This funeral home was part of the Ilkeston Co-op Funeral Service, which opened in May 1994, and was then incorporated into the A.W. Lymn group in October 2003.
The funeral home is run by funeral arranger Michelle Ibbett and overseen by funeral director Mick Schofield. The office is open from Monday to Friday from 9 am to 5 pm and on Saturdays from 9 am to 12.30 pm.
If you need assistance after hours, you can always call the telephone number at any time, seven days a week, and arrange an appointment at your convenience.
The premises offers one client parking space, a reception area, family rooms, visiting rooms and cold room facilities.
The branch gives a discount to Co-op members and also offers Ilkeston Co-op Funeral Vouchers and Ilkeston Co-op Funeral Plans.
The Ilkeston office covers all of Ilkeston and its surrounding area including Awsworth, Cossall, Eastwood, Heanor, Kimberley, Kirk Hallam, Langley Mill, Loscoe, Shipley, Smalley, Stanley, Trowell, West Hallam and beyond.
Nigel, Matthew and Jackie Lymn Rose are the directors of the A W Lymn group.

From the very start we had professional but friendly service, even though they must see hundreds of clients we were made to feel special Scott was fab and was happy to answer all our "daft" but necessary questions.Our family affair was very small but still catered for perfectly.

We would have no hesitation in recommending Scott and the team at AW Lymn in Ilkeston. Funeral arrangements were made with care and discretion which made things so much easier for the family at a very difficult time. Impressed by everything, but was a little disappointed with the flowers for the top of the coffin. For £100.00 it didn't look anything like the double ended coffin sprays in the brochure, nor did it seem 3 feet in length.
However we were thoroughly impressed with the cars and service provided by the drivers and bearers, and Scott for his compassion when sorting out the arrangements.
The vicar was excellent, clearly spoken and everyone said at the end that they thought the service was a truly beautiful one and that we had done Joan proud.

We are however sorry that you were disappointed with the floral tribute that was provided. As the flowers were included as part of one of our packages there was no specific value attributed to them but they were detailed as being 3 ft. in size and so this will require investigating for you. I will therefore ensure that the photographs of the tribute are found and looked at, and someone will be in contact with you directly once this has been done. Thank you.
