From the very beginning and during all my contact with David Clarke at A. W. Lymn he and their staff have been brilliant. I was treated with the utmost sympathy and given valuable advice. I was never rushed and had everything explained to me. They kept in constant contact updating me at all times. I was assisted with enquires with the coroner from early times and on the day I was delighted with a lovely service. They have truly helped my family in difficult times. Thank you David, thank you A. The funeral was for my mum who passed away just after Christmas, and AW Lymn on Osmaston Park couldn’t have been more helpful. Mark went above and beyond to help me and my family during this awful time, even giving me advice on elements unrelated to the funeral directly, pointing me in the right direction for a number of things. He was kind, understanding and extremely patient.
The service itself was beautiful, the celebrant was requested by myself as she carried out my Gran’s funeral a few years before: Andrea Garlick. She was well spoken, compassionate and made the whole thing flow very smoothly.
I highly recommend this company to anyone who has lost a loved one, and would use them again.A.W. Lymn, Osmaston Park Team replied

For the second time in six months our family lost a relative; the second of my wife's parents left suddenly. We had been to Lymns of Derby for the funeral of my wife's mother in July/August last year when she passed away, and were so impressed by their experience and caring, honest & helpful attitudes that there was really no question of going to someone else. And again they did us proud. Both Neil the funeral director and Kaitlan the arranger went out of their way to provide everything we would need, and kept us up to date with every development in the process. Their kindness & down to earth humanity helped us through the sadness & loss-yet they never lost their sense of professionalism. We would wholeheartedly recommend Lymns of Derby especially Neil & Kaitlan, but also the drivers/bearers who looked after us on both funeral days. All the staff we met have an amazing attitude & pride in the service they provide, and we would like say a huge heartfelt thanks to everyone there.

A.W. Lymn funeral services arranged the funeral of our late mum, Mrs Sylvia Mary Morrell who sadly passed away in December 2022.
The professionalism, empathy and respect not only to the relatives in bereavement, but also for the deceased in the overall attention to detail of the whole services given was impeccable from start to finish. Every need and individual requirement was attended to, enabling you to give your relative the funeral they deserve.
Our thoughts and thankyou's go out to all personnel including those behind the scenes who you never meet. Special heartfelt thanks and credit for there services are Karen at the Sutton office who went out of her way to ensure you were looked after and Johnathan who guided us on the day from pick up until he dropped us off after the service.
We would also like to say a thankyou to the celebrant Katie Page who held the beautiful service ensuring every detail of our wishes was perfect, which it was.
A last and massive thankyou to you all.
