Donna from the Salisbury branch was extremely helpful with all the arrangements especially as she also helped with my Mum’s funeral arrangements  19 days before, she has kept me informed about everything when one to one and when on the phone.

Donna at the Coop was very helpful from the first phone call to my last visit to collect the ashes. She explained the process and was supportive. She allowed me to talk and never made me feel rushed. Nothing was too much trouble. All of her team from the undertaker Ray to  Jane the celebrant, who herself was brilliant, were very kind and respectful. I would definitely recommend the Coop.

The whole thing was well done with the exception of the flowers. None of the floral arrangements we ordered and paid for were delivered. The substitutes were nothing like the ones we wanted. Very disappointed on the day.

I was really pleased with how my mother’s funeral went, from start to finish. Everything was well organised by the admin officer and there was no shortage of choice regarding beautiful flowers. On the day, all who attended were totally professional and worked in a very respectful way. I couldn’t have wished for better.

The basic direct cremation gave me more than I was expecting, choice of clothing for the deceased, opertunity to have finger and handprints keepsakes, along with locks of hair, very dignified and respectful operation, the choice of beautiful urns and jewellery keep sakes at a fair additional cost.

The service from the company from the date of my mother's death to the funeral was very professional and caring.

Donna in the Salisbury branch was very helpful throughout and Neil who led at the funeral contacted me several times both before and after the funeral to explain the processes and ensure we were happy with how things went.

Would definitely recommend Coop Funeral Services.

Co-Op as an organisation are awful, if there are any problems especially if you are awaiting a refund for anything takes a very long time and then they weirdly make decreases to the amount without a reason why. The people on the ground are fine and sympathetic and handle the actual funeral well but the organisation I would not recommend or use again. I unfortunately lost both parents close together and had a funeral plan for both, in between the chaos of my dad dying and caring for my mum who died weeks later, I forgot to send them ID for my mum. This meant they cancelled her plan, something they forgot to tell me when they took her body away (she died at home), they told me after if was cancelled. This has caused much distress, I would of gone else where had I known. My poor mum. They owe me money from an old pre paid plan,  still don’t have it and they have taken £50 off. Awful organisation but people on the ground nice.

Mum passed on Christmas Day, I worried this would affect things but Co-Op duty funeral director contacted me quickly. Funeral Arranger Katie in Salisbury took over and was compassionate, kind and got me in very quickly. She kept in touch a lot via phone and email and explained everything that needed to be done. She even rang me one day just to see how we were doing. Katie clearly loves what she does and she made sure we, and my mum, were looked after.  Mum had a funeral plan and Katie sorted this paperwork out so it was one thing less to worry about. I think that the team took away the pressure and worry during this sad time.
