He is always on hand when needed to give support and advice and to solve any difficult issues that might arise. Such a warm and kind family run business. The service provided in arranging the direct cremation was excellent and very professional from start to finish. Thank you to Paul and everyone else we hand contact with during this difficult time. When we collected our loved one David Gallagher personally met my mother and took time to chat to my mum and genuinely showed an interest in the memories she shared, this was very comforting to my mother. I would definitely recommend the Gallagher family to take care of your loved one. The direct cremation was more personal being arranged through a family business.

We mainly dealt with Simon who was very thoughtful and understanding at our loss,anything we asked for was no trouble and done in a friendly but very professional way throughout.I also had on occasion to speak to Paul who is learning his role but again caring thorough and professional. We thank you from our hearts for a wonderful send off for mum.

The service we received from The Gallagher Family Funeral Directors was exemplary. 

When my Mum passed away it was the single most difficult time of my life and I have never felt so scared and vulnerable. 

I’d never before realised the importance of choosing the right funeral directors… and why would I? I’d never had to organise a funeral before. Ultimately what you are choosing is the final people who will take care of your loved one, who will guide you to saying your final goodbyes. It’s important you have the right people to support you during this time. 

From my first meeting with David, when I turned up unannounced I knew that I had found the right place. 

Simon was our Funeral Director and throughout it all - the planning, the day of the funeral, and after- he treated us with patience, kindness and respect. 

The funeral itself was as perfect as could be. It was dignified, peaceful and conducted in a manner that offered my Mum the love and respect she deserved. 

The minister held the service at a gentle pace, made us feel at ease, really taking the time to offer the comfort that we needed. 

I loved that we could have a photo tribute with backing track. It made the service that bit more personal and gave people the opportunity to smile and reflect on my Mum as she was, as they knew her. 

There will never be sufficient words to express the gratitude I feel towards Simon and colleagues but from the bottom of my heart and on behalf of my Mum and my family: Thank you so much.

I cannot praise Gallagher's highly enough.

Paul, who officiated at our mother's service was professional, compassionate and above all a wonderful human being.

We had never had to do anything like planning a funeral before and at a time when everything is so raw with grief Gallagher's held our hand.

All members of the staff went above and beyond keeping us informed at all stages and dealing with all our family queries in a thoughtful manner.
