Paul was very supportive and helped prepare a funeral full of touches specific to my Mum.
He skillfully negotiated some tricky family dynamics.
The funeral went very well, despite thick snow and ice.

My sister and I would like to personally thank Sam and all the team for all your kind support and guidance in helping us to organize Mum and Dad's funerals.  You made the whole process very beautiful for both of them, especially with us having to arrange their funerals just 12 weeks apart, which has been extremely hard for us both to come to terms with, but I know it will become easier for us both in time.  

A special thank you to Paul too for collecting and taking care of mum and dad, and for all the support he gave to us both in reassuring us that they were both in safe hands, and explaining everything to us both at such an emotional time, whilst being extremely supportive. 
 
I think they would have been very proud in what we chose for their funerals with your guidance and support throughout. 

Nothing was too much trouble and everything was just perfect, even down to finding specific flowers for both of them. 
 
The empathy shown at both of their funerals by you and your fantastic team was outstanding and we will be forever grateful to you all for making them very special and personal to our family and friends.
 
We have both had lots of comments about how fantastic you and the team were, and everyone has said that they have never been to such well organized and truly beautiful funerals, a credit to you all.
 
Tracey and I will be forever grateful to you and the team and we would highly recommend you to friends and family.

I can’t thank Paul and the rest of the team enough for all their help and support whilst planning my Mum’s funeral.  They made it all so easy, as pain free as possible and were on hand every step of the way to help with anything that needed doing.

From the start of the process, until the end our Mum and our family were treated with great respect and dignity. The whole thing could have so easily been overwhelming, but it was made easy and seamless. The service on the day couldn't have gone better. Our Celebrant Helen was lovely.

Our Mum was given a very loving send off, and her family felt cared for too.

My wife died very suddenly of a return of cancer that we all thought she had overcome 3 years ago. She was originally from Thailand but working in Skipton at the time of her death.
Paul Wilkinson dealt with all the arrangements in a thoroughly understanding, kind and culturally sensitive and considerate but professional manner from start to finish.
I could not have asked for more from him.
Gallaghers are highly recommended to help with one of the most sad and difficult matters that anyone can face.

I cannot fault Gallaghers at all. I dealt with Simon Wheeler and he was superb in every way. Kind, couteous and caring. Everything thing was how I wanted it to be and ran perfectly. Nothing was too much trouble and there were no hitches at all. Highly recommend.

From the moment when Sam Gallagher came to collect my recently  deceased sister from her home to the final moment of her committal, we (the family and my sister’s carers) were cared for and advised by Paul Wilkinson on each step to take. 
My family are not Christian so some of our requests for the funeral were out of the ordinary. Paul received each one with respect and they were all implemented with such warmth that it lessened our grief.
I have no hesitation in recommending Gallaghers and also the Golden Charter Funeral plan.

When mum died, literally 4months to the day after dad died,my brother and I had no hesitation to use the services again of Gallaghers Funeral Directors. Their service is impeccable!
Mum was collected promptly and we knew she was in excellent hands. Paul once again took us under his wing and respectfully guided us through everything. Nothing is ever too much trouble and he handled situations with warmth, care and professionalism. I felt confident that everything would run smoothly with the support and dedication given. Mum indeed had a lovely send off. Paul showed real understanding and empathy and definitely goes the extra mile to ensure everything goes to plan and his reassurance through devastating times were very much appreciated.
All staff were very friendly and respectful whenever I rang or called in. They are top of the league in professionalism and friendliness. They certainly make a difficult task easier and they actually do treat you as part of the family!! Totally trustworthy. 5 star rating for sure!
