We received amazing service from Mark and Kelsey, from the initial phone call with Kelsey I knew we were in good hands. Mark is very compassionate and understanding, nothing was too much trouble. With this being the first funeral Iv had to organize he went through everything step by step and tailored a service which was exactly as my mam would of wanted. With this being obviously a difficult time for us Mark took all the stress away and was there throughout. I cannot thank him enough for everything that he has done for us. Want to say a huge thank you to Kate reed also who was wonderful and wrote a perfect eulogy for my mam.

Mark and his daughter, Kelsey, could not have handled this sad and sensitive time better. All my family agreed that.  They never seemed rushed and always  managed appointments at the times we needed them.  A five star firm.  I put this last point in because I am not sure if the website registered my '5 star' rating.

My family and I recommend Mark Wait Funeral Services very highly indeed. 

I first met Mark Wait when his company organised the funeral of one of our best friends and we were involved in some of the arrangements. When six months later my father became very ill and we were told he was going to die within a few days the one thing that made things easier for me was knowing that I could contact Mark and he would step in when the time came to handle everything sensitively and smoothly which he did. The same with my mother. Even though she died on Christmas Day Mark was brilliant in making things as bearable as he could under the very sad circumstances even though it would no doubt have meant him and his team being pulled away from his own family at Christmas. When you're dealing with grief and it's a great comfort to know that everything will be dealt with in such a professional and sensitive manner no matter when the worst happens. There are so many decisions to make but Mark always took the time to explain things and give the right advice. He also made arrangements with celebrant Stevie Glover who is amazing.

This is the second time we have called on Mark. Several years ago he cared for my uncle and as my aunt so appreciated the level of care Mark gave I had no hesitation in seeking him out to care for her.
As we do not live in the Newcastle area we were totally dependent on him for advice and all arrangements. He helped us to plan the kind of personalized funeral that my aunt would thoroughly approved of and was available for any subsequent queries.
I cannot recommend the service Mark provides highly enough.
