Our Funeral Director Kevin Philips dealt with our mother's funeral and he helped to make the awful experience as easy as possible for us. He answered email queries we had promptly and we felt reassured that he was in control of the process and that he had our best interests at heart. The humanist lady who he put us in touch with for the service was also excellent and we could not have wished for a better send off for our mam. Thank you so much

From the outset we received excellent advice both legally and of a practical nature regarding the organisation of my uncle's funeral plan.
Communication regarding updates to the arrangements was seemless and we were also put in touch with a brilliant funeral celebrant, Maggie Edge, who made a fantastic job of delivering the family eulogy on the day.
Finally, there was a lovely, unprompted, touch by Chris our funeral director, who arranged for the cortege route to pass my uncle's favourite pub, which would have meant so much to my uncle.

I found the services from the director co-op funeral care outstanding. From the initial meeting and to completion. Although my husband`s funeral was only on the 18th January `Kevin` who was our main contact continues to ensure that everything we needed or remain to need will be carried out to our satisfaction.
I would not hesitate to recommend the Co-op funeral-care services.

Excellent Funeral service from Craig button of Coop Funeralcare south Tyneside treat us with love compassion from the start to finish from his staff excellent care he went that extra mile in all they did 

However from your Benwell Funeralcare we were not treat with love and compassion I was asked aggressively when I was settling my late fathers bill saying did I have my bank card ready 
How I live above Hebburn Funeralcare home but not let me pay in that office saying it had to be this office 
Then when I asked was dad resting with you then still I was told yes he was
He’s in the FRIDGE not the way I wanted to imagine this

Ian was just as compassionate and understanding of my situation,  so helpful with everything and i was so glad to have him with us on the day and the day of the scattering of ashes ….both of them are wonderful….10/10 ….
