The team at Sherlocks truly care and make a difficult time so much easier - nothing was too much trouble and all the little details seemed to effortlessly come together. Mum's funeral was truly a celebration of her life and the team made it very special for us as a family, but also for gathered friends too.

All arrangements were discussed and organised with great empathy for the family and it was reassuring to have such professional and kindly knowledge to guide us through all the options.
Funeral Director, Clive Cappelman, was of great assistance in ensuring that my father's wishes were accommodated into the arrangements and ensuring that the funeral took place with smooth efficiency, meaning the minimum of upset to all attending.
Celebrant, Graham conducted the service of celebration with a grace and empathy that was appreciated by all.
Sherlock and Sons have been very accommodating and could not have been more supportive and helpful in ensuring that the family wishes were carried out. We feel that Dad's farewell was accomplished with the great respect and dignity the he would have wanted, and one that allowed the family to say goodbye in their own way.
All this was well managed in awkward Covid circumstances and was much appreciated by the family.

We will forever be grateful for the guidance, support, and advice given by Maria,Clive and the rest of the Sherlocks team. Nothing was too much trouble. My beloved Mum was always handled with respect and dignity, and we hope she received the funeral she would've wished for. What was probably the worst time in our lives was made bearable by the professionalism and competence of this amazing team, from those that took Mum from our house, to the individuals that cared for her body and dressed her for viewing, to moved her at the funeral..thank you to you all.

Beautifully organised under difficult circumstances. Numbers of mourners allowed changed from week to week, not Sherlock’s fault. Opening entrance music went on too long but that might have been RP’s fault. Apart from that excellent.

At what was a very difficult time for myself and family, as indeed bereavement is for many people, Clive, his staff and Rev Thrower provided all of the required help, advice, comfort and sympathy. The organisation for my wife's cremation was faultless and fully met our wishes. Our family and very many friends who were unable to attend the celebration of her life have commented on the excellence of the service and joy of 'feeling' to be present, albeit on-line.

They have all been so compassionate and understanding towards me and my family.  My family have always used Sherlock. For unfortunately many family funerals. A very professional and compassionate service when removing his body from home and then again when arranging the funeral. on the morning of the funeral a very moving and wonderful gesture of leading the cortege on foot to the end of the road. Thank you.

100 out of 10 is still not enough. The service we received from the very first telephone call, to the wave goodbye at the crematorium, was outstanding. We cannot thank Clive and his team enough.

Thank you for making the whole event as easy and joyous as was possible. You went above and beyond with your planning, which enabled us to have a motorbike escort that was so moving and exactly how Mark would have wanted it. I coulndn't recommend Clive and co more highly.

This has been the 3rd time I have used Sherlock's for both my parents and my mother in law. Each time they have show compassion with the necessary questions needing to be asked to arrange a funeral. This time I also appreciated the online obituary page which was new to me this time. I also used them for the first time to arrange order of service. There swift turnaround for amendments and the polite way they showed "nothing was too much trouble" was greatly appreciated.
