I cannot speak highly enough of the service provided by Stoodley & Son. At the outset Colin Roberts guided myself and my two sons through the procedure needed to attain our wish for a blessing of the coffin in your Chapel of Rest, an unattended cremation followed by a Thanksgiving Service in the Minster church at Ilminster. We were also reliant upon you for the announcement in The Times, the printing of the Order of Service and presence in the Minster to greet and record the 45 friends and family attending.
Everything went according to plan and we have particularly appreciated the quiet, pleasant manner with which everything was conducted.

Tracey and her team were very professional whilst being sensitive and personal. Nothing was too much trouble for them, from the choosing the flowers and the music, they gave helpful advice. Everyone commented what a beautiful service it was in the strange times we having now. Cannot speak highly enough of this Company. They have taken care of both my parents now and have treated me and my family with care and consideration on both occasions. Where do I begin?  Thank you hardly sounds adequate. 
I and my family are so grateful for all you did before and during John's funeral, you looked after us well and went out of your way to ensure absent family members were included by setting up filming that was viewed live in Norfolk, Bournemouth, Hamburg and Marseille.  They were able to see and hear the graveside service. 
You provide the most professional help in a sensitive, friendly and cheerful way which, at a difficult time, is much appreciated.  You made last Monday a comfortable day for us, we felt completely satisfied that all went well.  I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Stoodley and Son.

Superb, excellent, professional service which we cannot praise or recommend highly enough.
They went above and beyond in helping me and my family give my mother the funeral she deserved under the most harshly difficult and unprecedented circumstances. Tracey and Colin were a pleasure to deal with and showed us such great empathy and compassion in their dealings with us and we so appreciated the personal touch which is not only extremely rare these days but is definitely missing when dealing with larger, more corporate companies.

God is in the details it is said and during this unique and trying time the team made sensitive and swift responses to changing guidelines and made an otherwise increasingly difficult situation effortless and not without joy. Tracey and her team at A.E Stoodley (Colin, Ellie, Roger and the pallbearers) went above and beyond to help make such a sad occasion with the loss of my dear Mum, a lot more bearable. Nothing  was ever too much trouble. There was always someone on hand for our needs 24 hours a day. The funeral that was held was dealt with in such a professional manner. Tracey herself took the service and as funerals go, it was perfect. I know that my Mum would of approved, especially to “Dancing Queen!”Many thanks again for all of your hard work. Beth Woolacott

Colin Robert's couldn't have been more helpful and supportive to help us to put together a fitting farewell to Michael.
