We first met Tracey at a local agricultural show and we knew from the off that we wanted Stoodleys to handle any funeral requirements we may have. Unfortunately we lost my Dad in early December and from the very beginning Stoodleys have been excellent. We had several unavoidable delays in sorting out the arrangements but nothing was too much trouble including rearranging appointments at short notice.

When finally we were able to sit down with Tracey we felt at ease and able to discuss our requirements and select various options with her guidance. We engaged a Celebrant called Derren via Tracey and her services were equally as professional.

On the day everything went without a hitch, the service was delivered by Derren with sensitivity and compassion and Tracey's team were seamless. I can't thank you all enough for making an extremely sad day a success. I would not hesitate to recommend you to local friends along with Derren if a Celebrant is required.

Colin has been wonderful from the first time he came and met Stuart to plan his own funeral we felt like we were going to ok when the worst happened and we were right. From the time I rang Colin to tell him the sad news they treated Stuart with the care and dignity he deserved. He supported us to organise the celebration that stuart had planned we could not have asked for more. He was always approachable and made you feel at ease, even if you felt like you were asking silly questions! I could not recommend Colin and his team more. Thank you for everything.

Stoodleys had a friendly, comfortable, approachable way that gave us exactly what we needed and wanted. They helped us sort an informal, comfortable 'tailored-to-our-needs' tribute-service that respected our wishes for the deceased 'Bob', and was entirely respectable within a limited budget. Tracey supported us in a kind, caring and practical way, without hurrying us, and couldn't have done more to ensure that everything worked well and went smoothly both before, during and afterwards. A E Stoodley,  under their Funeral director Ms Tracey Warren, were very easy to deal with, from their first visit after my Husbands death, and subsequent visits they made all the decisions easy to make and were anxious to make this very difficult time for me and my children  as comfortable as possible. The Funeral service and interment were very well arranged and since then I have had such support from them including a bereavement support programme  which I feel will be of help with dealing with my grief.
