My brother and I cannot thank Lymns in Ruddington enough for their attention to detail in dealing with the death of our dear dad. From start to finish their professionalism was exemplary.
We would also like to personally thank Courtney, Julie, Teresa and Richard for their seamless experience.
We know funerals can be a sad occasion but dads will be forever remembered as a great occasion

Established in the 1950’s, the office was originally Oliver & Son Funeral Services but in 1994 the Beeson family sold the business to the A W Lymn group.
Set in a beautiful rural environment, this office has visiting rooms, a reception area, family rooms and cold room facilities.
Funeral directors Teresa Spencer and Gary Cooke are in charge of the funeral home and will be more than happy to help in person Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm and on Saturdays from 9 am to 12.30 pm. You can also schedule an appointment to be seen after hours if it is more convenient for you. To do so, please call the telephone number, which is available seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
The office covers all of Ruddington and its surrounding areas including Bradmore, Bunny, Burton on the Wolds, Costock, East Leake, Hoton, Keyworth, Kingston upon Soar, Normanton on Soar, Normanton on the Wolds, Rempstone, Sileby, Stanton on the Wolds, Sutton Bonnington, West Leake, Widmerpool, Willoughby on the Wolds, Wysall and beyond.
A W Lymn The Family Funeral Service is owned and managed by Jackie, Matthew and Nigel Lymn Rose. Nigel is a former president of the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD).

Teresa at Lymn's helped us through a very difficult time, planning our daughter's funeral. She had a practical yet compassionate approach, which helped us to plan everything exactly how we wanted it. If we had any questions or queries, Teresa was always easy to get in touch with, and it really helped to have this continuity, so that we didn't have to keep going through things again with different people. On the day of the funeral, everything went perfectly, and Teresa was there to support us on this very difficult day.

We chose Lymns as they did a superb job with my mother’s funeral 6 years ago. Their care with my father and extra help in this time of Covid could not be faulted Always polite and empathetic. Theresa was excellent in particular.

We were very pleased with the dignified and helpful way in which all staff of A W Lymn conducted themselves.
Courtney Kelham-Giddy described in detail all options and castings for every aspect of the funeral, with no pressure or time constraints being placed on our decision making. She maintained regular contact after our initial meeting to ensure that everything was progressing to time.
On the day of my wife’s funeral all staff were very attentive and ensured that the service and burial were exactly as we wanted.
We would have no reservations about recommending A W Lymn to anyone.

I went to Lymn's 3 years ago when my mother passed away ,I was very pleased with the way they handled everything So when my father passed away I decided to use them again. Everything went smoothly even with covid 19 to deal with. Organizing a funeral can seem daunting but with Lymn's to guide you can do it.
