My son and I were treated with great care and consideration in our loss. The arrangements were made in impeccable fashion. What was a very sad occasion was not marred by any errors or lack of the duty of care. All in all, everything went extremely well and Doreen was laid to rest in the best of ways.
Established in the 1950’s, the office was originally Oliver & Son Funeral Services but in 1994 the Beeson family sold the business to the A W Lymn group.
Set in a beautiful rural environment, this office has visiting rooms, a reception area, family rooms and cold room facilities.
Funeral director Teresa Spencer is in charge of the funeral home, supported by Funeral Arranger Santanna Nightingale. They will be more than happy to help in person Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm and on Saturdays from 9 am to 12.30 pm. You can also schedule an appointment to be seen after hours if it is more convenient for you. To do so, please call the telephone number, which is available seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
The office covers all of Ruddington and its surrounding areas including Bradmore, Bunny, Burton on the Wolds, Costock, East Leake, Hoton, Keyworth, Kingston upon Soar, Normanton on Soar, Normanton on the Wolds, Rempstone, Sileby, Stanton on the Wolds, Sutton Bonnington, West Leake, Widmerpool, Willoughby on the Wolds, Wysall and beyond.
A W Lymn The Family Funeral Service is owned and managed by Jackie, Matthew and Nigel Lymn Rose. Nigel is a former president of the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD).

This company was outstanding.
Empathetic and patient. The attention to detail was lovely. My son was only 10 and wanted to walk in front of his Grandfathers coffin. Matthew the funeral director on the day looked after him and wore his school cufflinks as he knew he had gone to the same school as my son. They happened to both begin the same school House so Matthew was able to talk to my son at put him at ease.
It was a very difficult time and the lady I spoke to at the Ruddington branch was very experienced and kind and knew just what to say and was sincere, nothing felt contrived or scripted.
Costs were kept to a minimum and they helped us do this.

Lymn's provided outstanding help from the initial chats to the final day. The service at the crematorium was absolutely lovely. Richard, the celebrant, was superb. His Eulogy for mam was something we all will treasure. Gary, on the final day, was also thoughtful and helpful. Everything was carried out with sympathetic feeling and efficiency.
All who attended mam's celebration of Life commented on the lovely service, from Order of Service, the words spoken and the slide show that depicte and celebrated mam's life.
I would not hesitate in recommending Lymns as a funeral provider.

We all know that a funeral can be a big expense, but you only get one chance to say goodbye, and the care and compassion they showed to both the living and the dead was priceless. Gary, Santanna and the whole team made a very traumatic time almost bearable, and nothing was to much trouble for them. They are a credit to their profession and a credit to the company. The fine send off that my darling wife so richly deserved. I can not thank you enough.

Gary and Santanna, were absolutely amazing they delivered a professional service from start to finish all whilst being kind, caring and supportive. They made the process as easy as it could be and ensured that Mum was given the send off she deserves. They communicated well and kept everyone updated so that there was nothing hidden. I honestly couldn’t thank them enough in my most difficult time of losing my Mum.
