Lymn Ruddington gave my family a superb service throughout my mother’s funeral process. They were supportive and understanding in their communication and were always prompt to answer queries. Their staff are experts. You know fry on the start they will be reliable and professional.
Established in the 1950’s, the office was originally Oliver & Son Funeral Services but in 1994 the Beeson family sold the business to the A W Lymn group.
Set in a beautiful rural environment, this office has visiting rooms, a reception area, family rooms and cold room facilities.
Funeral directors Teresa Spencer and Gary Cooke are in charge of the funeral home and will be more than happy to help in person Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm and on Saturdays from 9 am to 12.30 pm. You can also schedule an appointment to be seen after hours if it is more convenient for you. To do so, please call the telephone number, which is available seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
The office covers all of Ruddington and its surrounding areas including Bradmore, Bunny, Burton on the Wolds, Costock, East Leake, Hoton, Keyworth, Kingston upon Soar, Normanton on Soar, Normanton on the Wolds, Rempstone, Sileby, Stanton on the Wolds, Sutton Bonnington, West Leake, Widmerpool, Willoughby on the Wolds, Wysall and beyond.
A W Lymn The Family Funeral Service is owned and managed by Jackie, Matthew and Nigel Lymn Rose. Nigel is a former president of the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD).

So kind & considerate. The day went perfectly. They took the time to understand our loved one & what type of service was meaningful. Everything from the planning, to the funeral day, was done at the family pace with no rush.

A W Lymn Ruddington are such a compassionate caring team from start to finish. I cannot thank everyone enough, from the initial contact with Theresa, Gary and all the staff on the day.
The team lead by Edward Martin who was so caring and professional were brilliant - all the staff were impeccably smart, and the fleet of cars were immaculate, along with the floral tributes. Nothing was too much trouble on the day - it was perfect, a typical village Funeral.
We had comments as below:
“ A W Lymn always seem to have the edge over anyone else”
“Please don’t take this the wrong way, although a sad occasion, it’s been brilliant”
“ So caring, approachable, and smart - everything was perfect for you”
You should all take pride that AW LYMN made it possible to give our Uncle Bernard a good send off, it was exactly how he would have wanted it. You did us proud.

The whole process was professional, friendly and considerate. The undertaker listened carefully to our wishes. On the day he and his team were supportive but unobtrusive. Everything went according to plan. The collection of ashes was timely and dealt with sensitively. Having had Lymn’s recommended by several local people I would have no hesitation in recommending them myself.

Everything was as expected with A.W Lymns. Superb professional service. The day went smoothly. Teresa was lovely & calmly guided us through the arrangements at the Ruddington funeral home. As my brother was transported to the crematorium in my own camper van, Gary & Dominic were there to help at the funeral home & crematorium.
