We've used Lymn Ruddington three times in the last few years, the most recent being for my mother. Couldn't recommend them highly enough. Everything went very smoothly and they really helped us through what is obviously an incredibly difficult time.

Teresa has been amazing she helped me through the toughest time of my life after losing my husband nothing was to much trouble they helped my family by letting them carry my husband's coffin into church the whole team was amazing I would recommend these people to anyone

Established in the 1950’s, the office was originally Oliver & Son Funeral Services but in 1994 the Beeson family sold the business to the A W Lymn group.
Set in a beautiful rural environment, this office has visiting rooms, a reception area, family rooms and cold room facilities.
Funeral director Teresa Spencer is in charge of the funeral home, supported by Funeral Arranger Santanna Nightingale. They will be more than happy to help in person Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm and on Saturdays from 9 am to 12.30 pm. You can also schedule an appointment to be seen after hours if it is more convenient for you. To do so, please call the telephone number, which is available seven days a week, 24 hours a day.
The office covers all of Ruddington and its surrounding areas including Bradmore, Bunny, Burton on the Wolds, Costock, East Leake, Hoton, Keyworth, Kingston upon Soar, Normanton on Soar, Normanton on the Wolds, Rempstone, Sileby, Stanton on the Wolds, Sutton Bonnington, West Leake, Widmerpool, Willoughby on the Wolds, Wysall and beyond.
A W Lymn The Family Funeral Service is owned and managed by Jackie, Matthew and Nigel Lymn Rose. Nigel is a former president of the National Association of Funeral Directors (NAFD).

From our first meeting with Teresa we knew Joyce’s funeral arrangements were in safe hands. The professionalism from the whole team was exceptional from collecting Joyce on the day she passed away to the moment Kirby dropped us off at the wake. We can’t fault a single thing and are so grateful for m helping us celebrate Joyce’s life at this terribly sad time

Theresa was lovely to work with at such a difficult time. We had a committal at Wilford Crematorium and then a separate Service of Thanksgiving and refreshments afterwards. She was very knowledgeable about options for services, facilities and timing and this advice was very helpful. She was also very proactive in making sure we got dates and times which we required. She was always available for a call and communicated important info to us as we got everything arranged. Thank you!

It was such a honour to be involved in Lorna’s funeral, she was a big part of Ruddington Community, I remember she was involved with the Rudd magazine. She is now at rest with her beloved husband Ivan who I also knew as he was one of the organist at Wilford Hill Crematorium. They will both be missed very much. Lymns have conducted several family funerals for us and they do so with absolute professionalism. Teresa is understanding without being sentimental, which is something you don't need at a time like that. Richard, the celebrant gave us a truly beautiful service and several members of the family commented on how lovely it was. Every aspect of Lymns' service is polished and dignified. I rate them exceptionally highly.

A. W. Lymn of Ruddington were brilliant at organising my mums funeral in April of this year. Teresa came to the house to help with everything that was needed and answered all our questions, so that we did not have to worry about anything. The funeral went smoothly and gave my mum a good send off. This is the third funeral for our family with A.W Lymn in the last three years, I would recommend them highly.

From the initial enquiry, home visit, the supporting staff at the Chapel of rest through to the funeral itself. Gary and his team were exemplary from the start. Everything was handled carefully and efficiently, leaving nothing to chance.
