My late husband had previously taken out a pre-paid plan for his funeral which helped me personally a great deal as he had chosen the hymns that he wanted and the scattering of his ashes. Following his sudden death Lymn's were most supportive and caring in every way and Dominic , in particular , gave me the help I needed at this time.
I have also taken out a pre-paid funeral plan and know that , when my time comes which I hope is not yet, I will go in the knowledge that Lymn's will give all the help they can to my family.
I will not hesitate to recommend them to family and friends alike.

Sensitive, compassionate, accomodating and flexible. Totally professional and highly organised to take all the stress out of the day so we never had to worry about the practicalities.
Fred Beeson established a funeral service in Radcliffe on Trent in 1937 and moved to a purpose built funeral home in 1961. The business was incorporated into the A W Lymn group in 1994 and still remains at the same location. The premises underwent a major refurbishment in 2020.
The funeral home is run by Funeral Arranger Emma Hutton, who will be able to assist you Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm and on Saturdays, from 9 am to 12.30 pm. If you need assistance outside of office hours then please call the telephone number at any time.
The funeral home covers Radcliffe and all its surrounding areas, including Barnstone, Bingham, Caythorpe, Colston Bassett, Cotgrave, Cropwell Bishop, Cropwell Butler, East Bridgford, Granby, Gunthorpe, Harby, Hickling, Kinoulton, Langar, Long Clawson, Lowdham, Owthorpe, Plungar, Shelford, Tythby, Upper Saxondale and further afield.
The Rose family has a connection with Radcliffe dating over 100 years. A W Lymn The Family Funeral Service is currently run by Nigel, Matthew and Jackie Lymn Rose.

As a family we have really appreciated all the support and advice Brian has provided at such a difficult time, from the moment we all met him. The funeral itself ran smoothly and with the respect my husband so rightly deserved. We have all been grateful for the way they have sensitively looked after us, and the communication/contact has been excellent too.

My father & I used AW Lymn in Ratcliffe-On-Trent to arrange the funeral of my mother. They were compassionate & caring & explained the process & all the options available to us. We used a "Celebrant" for the service itself who helped us put together a celebration of my mother's life.
I heartily recommend AW Lymn.
