Superb professional caring compassionate
Fred Beeson established a funeral service in Radcliffe on Trent in 1937 and moved to a purpose built funeral home in 1961. The business was incorporated into the A W Lymn group in 1994 and still remains at the same location. The premises underwent a major refurbishment in 2020.
The funeral home is run by Funeral Arranger Emma Hutton, who will be able to assist you Monday to Friday, from 9 am to 5 pm and on Saturdays, from 9 am to 12.30 pm. If you need assistance outside of office hours then please call the telephone number at any time.
The funeral home covers Radcliffe and all its surrounding areas, including Barnstone, Bingham, Caythorpe, Colston Bassett, Cotgrave, Cropwell Bishop, Cropwell Butler, East Bridgford, Granby, Gunthorpe, Harby, Hickling, Kinoulton, Langar, Long Clawson, Lowdham, Owthorpe, Plungar, Shelford, Tythby, Upper Saxondale and further afield.
The Rose family has a connection with Radcliffe dating over 100 years. A W Lymn The Family Funeral Service is currently run by Nigel, Matthew and Jackie Lymn Rose.

Following the death of my mother we decided to appoint Lymns of Radcliffe on Trent as undertakers. We had appointed them in 2007 following the death of my father and been impressed with them at that time. We were similarly more than happy with the service we received on this occasion. The death of a beloved relative is never easy to deal with but Jane at Lymns (Radcliffe on Trent) guided us through the whole process of preparing for Mum's funeral with a level of supportiveness, patience, warmth and clarity which could not have been surpassed. Nothing was too much trouble and we felt well supported throughout. We will have no hesitation in recommending Lymns of Radcliffe on Trent to anyone requiring an undertaker in future.

I cannot praise enough A.W.Lymn with the way they handled my Mums funeral. There professionalism and compassion went as smooth as the Rolls Royce Phantoms which were used on the day. This was the first time I had been placed in this position and quite frankly I was terrified not knowing what had to be done but my fears were alleviated after our first visit and meeting with Jane at the Radcliffe office. From day 1 to the day of the funeral their attention to detail was incredible and the advice given was solid and honest.
A worry for many is also the cost on such an occasion as we hear about outrageous price claims generated by the media and insurance companies but for the service provided I believe we paid a good fair price.
I would certainly recommend A.W.Lymn to anyone who has the unenviable task of arranging a funeral. Let them guide you they know what they are doing.
Just a special mention to Jane who took care of us all the way like a guardian angel.

From our first contact with A. W. Lymn in Radcliffe we have received a wonderful level of service, delivered in a professional, courteous and friendly manner throughout. We have dealt with a number of the team, so thanks to Dominic and Brian, and also to Sharon regarding the design and details for Mum's headstone. In particular though, we want to send special thanks to Jane who has dealt with most of our (many) queries, and provided help, suggestions and support throughout the planning of Mum's service and final resting place.
A. W. Lymn have provided an exceptional level of service and our family are unanimous in being happy to recommend them for anyone needing their services at what is a difficult time for any family - The staff here will make the whole process as straight-forward as possible, minimising stress and anxiety.
