About Us
AW Lymn's Aspley funeral home is located at Rose House, on Nuthall Road, and was opened in September 2000. This funeral home is run by funeral arranger Jahnet Wilks and is overseen by funeral director Tony Knowles who has worked for the company for 35 years.
The Aspley office features public rooms, private family rooms, visitation rooms and cold room facilities. This branch covers all of Aspley and its surrounding areas, such as Basford, Bulwell, Bilborough, Hyson Green, Kimberley, Nuthall, Radford, Strelley and beyond.
The opening hours are from 9 am until 5 pm, from Monday to Friday but as with all of of AW Lymn's offices, you can arrange an appointment at any time to suit you, any day of the week. The telephone number is available from Monday to Sunday, 24 hours a day.
The Lymn Rose family has managed A W Lymn The Family Funeral Service since its establishment in 1907, when it was founded by Arthur William Lymn. Nowadays, his descendants Nigel, Matthew and Jackie Lymn Rose continue making sure all families have the best service in difficult times.

It is a very professional and organised company, the day of our funeral was very stress-free due to everyone involved from Lymn's. The funeral cars and drivers were exceptional, we could still have a good chat & they remained concerned about us & our beloved mother the whole time.

A w Lynns had conducted a extremely beautiful respectable service as regards my late father who was played to rest on the 22nd August 2024
Born 1929 August 25th
Passed over to eternity on 27 July 2024 at his home
Lymns were dedicated as to there duties for my late father and there services were amazing with dedication . Trust. Care and understanding and most of all complete respect .
I would like to thank all members that have taken place at Lynns funeral service, the cars were beautiful.

After loosing my mother it was a sad moment to walk into a funeral parlour. However after being met by janet (Nuthall rd ) we was amazed by the love of her job and how compassionate she made us feel very comfortable. we was looked after and comforted from beginning and even now after the funeral what an amazing employee you have and will be down to make my own plans for my family like my mum did for us .Thank you Lymns for making it easier for us

What a perfect team for a sad day, can’t remember the lady that took charge of the funeral that day but these guys are well trained, mannered and precessional, as for Jahnet what lady always calling to see if we all ok, making sure everything was perfect on the day.

Jahnet was exceptional throughout and was always there to answer any questions we had and she and even called us regularly to check we were ok.
