From my first call I was treated with great respect, understanding and empathy. All the staff were helpful and showed great respect to my deceased partner and the funeral was carried out to our wish's. I would recommend this company to every one.

Cars and hearse arrived at wrong address,no one knew who I was,we didn't know which car to go into.I approached the hearse to look at dads coffin and to find out which car I was to travel in.Arrived at crematorium did not know where to go what to do,the celebrant Brendan took me and told me where to sit,the family sat opposite sides to each other.when we should of been all together.After the service we were led out a different door.I was left not knowing where the drivers were,when we would leave,where I was going!Wasnt happy at all.
AW Lymn's Aspley funeral home is located at Rose House, on Nuthall Road, and was opened in September 2000. This funeral home is run by funeral arranger Jahnet Wilks and is overseen by funeral director Tony Knowles who has worked for the company for 35 years.
The Aspley office features public rooms, private family rooms, visitation rooms and cold room facilities. This branch covers all of Aspley and its surrounding areas, such as Basford, Bulwell, Bilborough, Hyson Green, Kimberley, Nuthall, Radford, Strelley and beyond.
The opening hours are from 9 am until 5 pm, from Monday to Friday but as with all of of AW Lymn's offices, you can arrange an appointment at any time to suit you, any day of the week. The telephone number is available from Monday to Sunday, 24 hours a day.
The Lymn Rose family has managed A W Lymn The Family Funeral Service since its establishment in 1907, when it was founded by Arthur William Lymn. Nowadays, his descendants Nigel, Matthew and Jackie Lymn Rose continue making sure all families have the best service in difficult times.

Miss Gallagher, as discussed on the telephone on Bank Holiday Monday and yesterday, we are sorry that you found the service of our Funeral Director to be less than you expected. Although we did not go to the wrong address, I accept that the cortege missed the turn to your street and had to turn around prior to collecting the family, and that due to the family bearers, piper and flowers you did not feel you and your mother were given the attention you required. Once again, our sincere apologies for these issues.

We found that A.W. Lymn Aspley Lane helped us so much through our difficult time especially Kim who was appointed to our family. Nothing was ever too much for her even though she had only been with the company for only 6 weeks she had done a fabulous job always kept us informed with everything. But everyone who was involved with our fathers funeral from Lymns did all our family very proud. Thank-you all once again The Late Eric Jones family.

The professionalism, warmth, understanding and care we received from Mark, was just brilliant. He made a very difficult and painful task, very easy and gave us full reassurance that all would be well and it was. Because of our Mothers health needs we wanted the funeral of our beloved brother Thomas, much sooner rather than later and Mark, pulled out all the stops to make it happen and we are truly very greatful to you Mark for meeting our needs. We would not go to another Funeral Director as this is the second time we have used A.W. Lymn and the whole service from first contact to walking into the funeral home to being dropped off at home was first class. God bless you all. The late Thomas Martin's family.
