AW Lymn's Aspley funeral home is located at Rose House, on Nuthall Road, and was opened in September 2000. This funeral home is run by funeral arranger Jahnet Wilks and is overseen by funeral director Tony Knowles who has worked for the company for 35 years.
The Aspley office features public rooms, private family rooms, visitation rooms and cold room facilities. This branch covers all of Aspley and its surrounding areas, such as Basford, Bulwell, Bilborough, Hyson Green, Kimberley, Nuthall, Radford, Strelley and beyond.
The opening hours are from 9 am until 5 pm, from Monday to Friday but as with all of of AW Lymn's offices, you can arrange an appointment at any time to suit you, any day of the week. The telephone number is available from Monday to Sunday, 24 hours a day.
The Lymn Rose family has managed A W Lymn The Family Funeral Service since its establishment in 1907, when it was founded by Arthur William Lymn. Nowadays, his descendants Nigel, Matthew and Jackie Lymn Rose continue making sure all families have the best service in difficult times.

Laura Fletcher is an absolute credit to your company. From start to finish she made this unpleasant task, bearable to complete. Her professional and caring manner was a true support for our family. All requests were met with compassion and at times shared laughter. The floral tribute and Order of Service were fantastic !!! Steve Wakeling who led the Service, delivered the words expressed by the family in a professional and friendly manner. Many members of our family and friends actually commented "Dad would have been proud and it was, in fact, a lovely day" THANK YOU TO ALL MEMBERS OF THE LYMNS TEAM.

We lost our mother and needed a supportive and knowldegable funeral director to assist us. From the start we were dealt with like individuals and given excellent advice on the first meeting. There was not pressure to sign or do anything we didn't want.
The planning was made easier with the systematic approach and also checking what the wishes of the family were to be. Laura at the Aspley Branch was excellent and catered to our Indian culture. Laura was flexible and patient,thank you Laura.
On the day the cars arrived and were a fitting tribute to my mum. Nigel the boss was master of ceremony and he had a knowledge, understanding and deep respect of indian traditions. He gently and efficiently manoeuvred us into the cars always suggesting options and more importantly gave us time to do what we needed to do. Never rushed and always empathetic and caring. Thank you Nigel.
Overall Lymns has been an excellent firm to say goodbye to a loved one. They really cared about mum and the living relatives.

From the initial meeting with Laura to the final arrangements the family couldn't have asked for a better send off for our brother. The funeral was organised professionally, but more importantly with compassion, and at all times consistent with ours and late brothers wishes.

I would like to say a big thank to everyone at Lymns for the wonderful support both in the arrangements on the lead up to the service and on the day.
From the start Laura was extremely professional / supportive and informative offering advise and giving guidance when required. On the day of the funeral, everything went very well and everyone attending the service commented on arrangements and how out of the funerals they had attended our mothers touched them; directly after the service we released doves which was amazing and uplifting. Julia supported us on the way to the service and during, again, we felt 'looked after' and 'cared for' by the team at Lymns (a special thank you to Laura and Julia). Thank you to everyone for making our mothers funeral a special day which we will always remember.
