They will deal with many aspects such as transfers, ensuring you find the right documentation, and will support you through the process with sensitivity and compassion.

There are numerous fine examples of Christian churches to host funerals, including the 900 year-old Church of the Holy Sepulchre and the Roman Catholic cathedral of St Mary and St Thomas. For places of worship for other faiths, there are facilities for Sikh, Muslim, Buddhist and Jewish communities, among others.

There are seven cemeteries in the Northampton Borough area, and three are open in the town for new burials. These are the Kingsthorpe, Dallington and Towcester Road cemeteries. Duston Cemetery is also open for the interment of ashes only. There is no public crematorium in Northampton, but one private facility. Country funerals made the whole process of organising my Mum's funeral very easy and straightforward, everyone is very respectful and patient through the whole process and exceeded my expectations with their communication and running the proceedings on the day. Highly recommended.

Melonie and Sean from the start provided a fantastic service. They were so supportive and fully understood our needs, nothing was too much trouble. They helped us and held our hands through a very difficult time while explaining everything clearly. I really don’t think there is anything we would have changed or done differently. Thank you so much to you both. You did a great job for us.

I cannot tell you how grateful we are as a family that Country Funerals conducted proceedings for my mother’s funeral. From the very first contact with Melanie, to day of the funeral and after we were treated with compassion, care and utter respect. On the day, Shaun and the rest of the team were wonderful. Thank you all so much.

I can only say that Melissa and Shaun of Country Funerals Towcester were extremely kind and attentive with regard to my husband's funeral. They put me at ease and helped me to plan everything. Nothing was too much trouble. They took away the stress and upset leaving me feeling calm and feeling able to cope. They turned a sad occasion into a special memory.

We chose country funerals on the basis of the reviews we had seen online. They seemed to care more, and their pricing information was clear and competitive. We were not disappointed, everything we had read turned out to be true.  Melanie and Shaun, who run the business, are two of the nicest and kindest people we have ever met, nothing is too much trouble. Everything’ ran like clockwork on the day, and the price came in right on the quote - no hidden costs. I understand other funeral services often massively hike the final price through a series of hidden charges.   I really can’t fault country funerals and would definitely use them again when that unfortunate time comes. Highly recommended without reservation. Thank you Melanie and Shaun for making a sad time bearable. Tony and Carolyn
