Brilliant right from the start, made to feel very welcome and comfortable. The director 'Andrew' was absolutely excellent, he went through the whole process, explained everything, laid out any additional costs, nothing was to much trouble for him to organise.
On the day of mums funeral, Andrew and his team were professional throughout, they took care of everything and made sure our mum and her family were their top priority at all times.
In all they were completely wonderful and I would 100% recommend their service to anyone.

Andrew from the Kingsthorpe branch in Northampton was excellent. Very caring and supportive. 
My only criticism was that when I rang the Co-op initially to report my Mum’s death, I had to speak to someone at headquarters which was very impersonal. He asked where my Mum’s body was and when I stated that she was in the mortuary he asked which room! 
I do not think that people should have to speak to someone at headquarters, it should be someone in the town where the deceased lived.

We were disappointed with the service we received. The Coop seems to have lost the attention to detail and customer focus we have previously experienced.
We found ourselves having to chase for information or request contact to third parties due to calls not being returned.

On the day of my dad's funeral, the flag draping his Coffin had not been ironed,so looked very crumpled.
The hearse back door wouldn't open which delayed the start of our service, which then felt rushed due to another service starting.

I didn't appreciate a call the morning of the funeral asking for information that had been agreed with the funeral arranger and had not been passed on to the people conducting the funeral procession.

The staff that attended on the day of the funeral could not be faulted. They were extremely professional and supportive.

Our family have been using Coop funeral care for as long as I can remember. We found on this occasion it was very stressful, poor communication and lack of attention to details. Very disappointed.
