You promised me that my late wife would be in Daventry so I could visit her.This would have given me around 10 days with her. In reality she arrived in Daventry at 2pm on Wednesday, we buried Clare at 12.45pm on Thursday. I had NO time with my wife of 23 years. I will never forgive the Co Op for that

In too short a time, I needed the services of Daventry Funeralcare once again, and on the basis of my previous experience, I made no hesitation in approaching them. I'm glad I did; I can now say, and do so emphatically, that DF are consistently excellent. I simply cannot speak highly enough of Sarah Houghton, who took care of everything very efficiently and very professionally, was again an absolute pleasure to work with.

Amazing support and care, also such a warm and surprisingly light place to sit and and have a coffee and talk through things. 
I could not have asked for more for my mum. 
Angela was our funeral director and her presence on the day of the funeral was note worthy, she added the perfect touch.

The family was made to feel at ease and reassured at all stages of the arrangement process and on the actual day itself. There was opportunity to make things bespoke and very personal, and the family was helped by couteous and professional staff throughout. Overall a comforting experience at a difficult and emotional time.

Outstanding service! Sarah Houghton was everything you could possibly hope for and more at what was , of course, a difficult time for my family and me: caring, genuinely sympathetic, helpful, patient...I could go on and on with the plaudits! Though Dad had a direct cremation, I think my experience was sufficient for me to thoroughly recommend Daventry Funeralcare.

The Coop funeral care at Daventry was so helpful and with excellent no pressure guidance as to the preparation needed (Documentation and options), updates before the funeral and practical support during. Thanks to Zoe (office), Angela and bearers (FD on the day) and Jane the Celebrant whose advice and editorial style made the service so unique and memorial. Still talking about it amongst the family.
