Elizabeth was so lovely, down-to-earth, caring and really made a very difficult time easier as much as she could. My step-dad's funeral went as well as we could have hoped during lockdown and we are very grateful for the support of the whole team at this time.

Martin and Elizabeth enabled us to have the best funeral possible for Mum despite the government restrictions. The use of their lovely chapel of rest for the service and choice of celebrant was an added bonus.I wouldn't hesitate to recommend them to friends and family. Jennie

Our family couldn't recommend Rowley and sons highly enough All the staff was so caring helpful thoughtful always there when we need to speak to them Our father died in the uncertain time of covid in hospital I phoned Rowley for advice I am so glad I did They got thing done so we didn't have to wait to long to have his funeral(due to covid lockdown places was closed people was working from home) Rowley's gave my dad a beautiful send off in their private chapel which we was able to attend and say our goodbyes cause we hadn't been able to see our dad and be with him at the end its true not all super hero's wear cape

Highest recommendation. Through a trying time and having to deal with another funeral director not performing well Rowleys came onboard with first class service. Walked us through everything and explained in easy to understand terms. Their staff are amazing and went above and beyond. The service undertaken by Rowleys although trying was delivered with the highest respect and everything at the highest standard.

A very professional and caring local firm who provided an excellent service under the virus lockdown conditions. We took up their offer of having a small and very private funeral service under social distancing rules in their own Chapel of Rest which was more moving for us than we had imagined it would be.  I cannot fault them in any way and I highly recommend them. Brilliant.

The circumstances were very difficult due to the coronavirus lockdown: regulations about deaths and funerals were changing by the day.  Rowleys rose to the occasion, helping us to navigate the ad hoc process for death registration and keeping us informed of our options in real time.  They succeeded in providing their usual excellent standard of kind, sympathetic and respectful service in spite of everything.  We are so grateful.
